Singer 2 is Morgan James, a Julliard trained classical singer who went on to study jazz. Check out her PMJ rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On", really impressive. Of course, any Haley PMJ collaboration is awesome.
PMJ records all their songs live. The job they do is unreal. Very impressive. Morgan has done a total of 10 videos with PMJ. All excellent, especially Take Me To Church.. Haley does a awesome cover of No Doubt's Don't Speak with them. Everything Morgan James does is awesome. Check out her other collaboration with Haley, Dear Prudence on Morgan's channel. Just chilled, sitting on a couch jamming with Morgan's husband playing the guitar. Morgan's covers of Aretha Franklin are also impressive. But then again she graduated from Juilliard in opera singing and moved onto Broadway before kicking off her solo career. Ariana's covers of Bad Romance and Criminal with PMJ are also worth checking out, along with her songs The Dead Dance and Memory. She is also a burlesque dancer.
Miss Valerie - Your mentioning about singing in harmony, especially in a trio, struck a note that most reactors don't mention at all - that of making sure the "blend" is right on. Here's something most people don't catch in this arrangement - When Morgan steps up to the mic to sing harmony with Haley, she sings a lower harmony part. Before the trio, when she joins Arianna, notice that she switches and sings the high harmony above Arianna's lead. When Haley joins to create the trio, she sings lead, Morgan stays up on top, and Arianna supports the others from below - but the blend is so good, it's hard to hear the individual parts unless you're listening with good quality headphones. This is a great example of true musicianship, not only the girls, but the whole group. Scott Bradlee's genius at work!
Next, watch Morgan James/PMJ do "Maps", "I Really Don't Care" and her epic "Dream On". Haley and Morgan do "Dear Prudence" is also amazing ! Then Morgan James and hubby's "Quarantunes" (she also covered the whole Beatles "White" album)!

You're absolutely right. Casey Abrams did a great job opening the performance. People forget that he was on American Idol the same season as Haley. Let's give credit where credit is due. And thanks for posting the clip of Haley with the high school orchestra. Never saw it before.
Very glad you found pmj. Absolutely love their style transformations and pairing them with the best vocalists for that style. Have you done acapella yet? I haven't seen any pentatonix reactions or voice play or home free and those are very worthy rabbit holes to go in
Morgan and Haley are the two who always draw the attention (rightfully so!) but Ariana often gets overlooked (not rightfully so). Ariana Savalas (70's tv show Kojak actor Telly Savalas' daughter) did not do as many songs with PMJ as Haley and/or Morgan have done, but her interpretations of the songs she did, are really good and fun as well, and the girl can sing as well as any of the PMJ girls can. Check out her version of Bad romance by Lady Gaga, it also has tap dancing in it by the amazing Sarah Reich, Sarah is the happiest tap-dancer you'll ever see, she radiates joy. Now a bit more personal, i hope you are doing well Valerie, or at least am doing better each day. I'm glad you keep doing these videos, maybe more as a distraction right now, but i read that as you still "hugging the music" and we both know the healing powers of said music, so i am very happy to see you be active with music and reactions. Spent a couple weeks in Almere with friends who feel like family. Absolutely loved my time in the Netherlands. Saving to go back to visit all my Dutch friends.

The other two singers were Morgan James (tall blonde), who trained for opera at Julliard, and Ariana Savalas (brunette) who is the youngest daughter of actor Telly Savalas. They all did an amazing job here. PMJ does great renditions of songs. You might want to try "Don't Speak", cover of the No Doubt song. Much more recent and also features Haley Reinhart.
