As a past customer, I'm happy to jump on a call and do a data dump with you to get those descriptions and bonus, get the emails for all the contracting officers. Just ping me on LinkedIn.
Day 4 (Who buys what I sell?) 2/2. The combination of your "Keyword" tool with the FPDS data has enabled me to refine both my Outreach and Targeting selection in my (your) 7-Step Process. I accomplished in just a few hours what previously had taken weeks (or longer!). See you tomorrow!
This task is taking a while. Keywords are turning up low results so have to go through more and determine how to reword. Also, there is a tool to download and view quickly that I don't have so this could be quite a lengthy process. How do you recommend we save/organize this data so that we don't have to keep repeating it over and over?
Are you doing this for an existing company in SAM or are you starting from scratch? I might be able to make a modification that you can download the data from my keyword tool, but the other one is for our subscribers. But we just built that tool in the last few months. Before that, I was doing it the same way as you, one at a time. Or, you can download data from within FPDS (top right corner has export) and use that CSV to look at agencies and winners. It lacks the description field which is why we built a tool to grab it and other data. Does that answer what you're trying to do?
You're welcome. I think you engaged me on LinkedIn or tried to connect. Over there, I only connect with people, so make sure your LinkedIn profile is your first and last name, not your company name. You can create a separate company page for growing those followers. It's that old saying "people buy from people" not companies.
I love the day by day format it gives sizable amounts without being overwhelming I plan to do all 365 days with you.
Awesome. Glad to have you join the journey.
So today I learned about the keyword description in FPDS, priceless!

Been here since day one.
And I appreciate that about you. :) Are you on your own journey as well?
Great Content. USAspending and FPDS info is very helpful.
It's why I love the Federal Market - the data is completely transparent compared to any other industry.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. I'm only 4 days in, but hoping you and others really see how the process can make it a lot easier to succeed.
