Marty, it's pouring with rain here in Northern Ireland! Thank you for brightening a very dull day in my seaside home of Bangor, County Down! That all-blue tractor was part of a Matchbox King Size set, the K20, which had a semi-articulated cab and flat trailer transporting three blue tractors. The single model had the yellow engine cover as you mentioned.
When I was a kid, Saturday mornings were full of cartoon shows, now it's a Marty's Matchbox Makeover video. Good times all around. The tractor and trailer turned out beautiful. Keep up the good work!
The best part of this is that Marty seems like a genuinely funny guy. He finally doesn't just get a chance to share his passion with matchbox cars, but also: share his comedic skills! Which are much appreciated if I might add.
Another great restoration, Marty! When I was a kid, we had a mid 1960s Ford tractor. It was blue with white wheel guards. Used to love riding around our farm on it.

Great job! To smooth the 3d prints, check out videos where they do so with a little nail polish remover in a cup in a closed container. The fumes will slightly melt the plastic and smooth things over.

Shouldn’t it be possible to 3D-print tyres in a higher resolution and flexible material with a resin printer? I have a Anycubic Photon resin 3D-printer that has never been used (my man-cave is not finished, yet). If you send me .stl files of the different tyre styles and sizes, I could try to print them out once the cave is ready to use, and send a bunch out to you for testing.
Well done, indeed. Another triumph. I find it interesting that you might be “questioned” for some out-of-the-box thinking on things like tires. Part of the challenge is solutions that work. Never argue with what works.

I remember the K20 set, a red D series truck with three blue Ford tractors held on by a yellow plastic assembly on the trailer.

Had a K20 when I was young. Lost, and not sure what ever happened to it. Now I have another one, assembled from separate missing parts.

now all you need is the Fordson number 72,and you have the lot,at least in regular wheel 1-75's.top makeover Marty.two for one again.super.
