What I like about Moira the most is that she's a powerful Healer - not sure yet if she could work as a solo healer, but initial impressions are promising - who is actually encouraged to play aggressively. The fact that her primary source of healing requires consistent damage in order to be replenished is a very interesting mechanic that I absolutely love, especially since it also restores her own health. It's like a life drain that she can pass on to her team. Her shadow hop ability seems incredibly interesting as well, good for getting out of tight spots and even chasing down low health enemies. The choice between damage orbs and healing orbs is very interesting as well, allowing the player to provide AOE healing AND damage depending on the situation. I'm excited to use her, can't wait until she hits the PTR.

That's only with a structured team though. As shown by papa Muselk she has to retreat a lot of the time because of her damage output, so alone she's quite laughable. Besides, I don't think the enemy team was being too serious about winning anyway lol.

Damn Muselk, when did you start using a facecam? Anyway, loved the gameplay as usual, you're so talented it's annoying. But that has it's upside with some damn good action and buttkicking, yeah! At first glance Moira appears to have an abundance of powers!
Biotic Grasp --- Using her left hand, Moira expends biotic energy to heal allies in front of her. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies’ health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy.
Biotic Orb --- Moira launches a rebounding biotic sphere; she can choose between a regeneration effect that heals the allies it passes through, or a decay effect that deals damage to enemies.
Fade --- Moira quickly teleports a short distance.
Coalescence --- Moira channels a long-range beam that both heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage her enemies.
To wrap it up you played like a pro. The commentary was first class but you were right of course the audio was not a 100%, but hey, we can't have it perfect all the time. You made up for it it in game play. Moira seems to be a character with a combination of powers / abilities from the other OverWatch characters like Zenyatta, Reaper, Symmetra and a weapon similar to that of Zarya's primary weapon only it's a combination of healing and destroying all at once, AND bypasses barriers? Scary stuff. So many thanks for another awesome gameplay video of OverWatch with a New Map. Kind regards. P ♥

All these comments about how Moira is either OP or UP, or how her design doesn't fit/she's a Paladins rip-off, and I'm just happy to finally have a healer that can sap health.

What’s the problem with it
Russcv B A lot of people find it selfish to have an aggressive/offensive play style when playing a healer. Not saying I have an issue with that, playing aggressively is how you win. But, some people tend to forget that their job is to support their team when they decide to go on the offensive.
Now we watch as everyone fights to play the new hero and watch the chat fill with people asking to switch

As a Zen main, this character really intrigues. She's basically an opposite Zen. Does more healing than damage. If I master her as well, I could get the best of both worlds and provide help assistance to the team.

John Barz sym is definitely good and acceptable on most maps defenses through almost all ranks up to gm that's where they're very rarely seen. She's like rhe attack sym that's acceptable.

So she's basically the opposite of Zen. Does more healing than damage. As a Zen main this really intrigues me, and I'd definitely love to try and master both of them at one point.
Although I would honestly prefer her to have 150 HP. She doesn't look like the type of person who can take a fair amount of hits.
In my opinion she should indeed have 150 health, and a slight damage decrease, otherwise it'll overpower other healers like zen and ana.
It is too early to judge on that.
She actually has a balance of both, she can heal or damage with her primary, she can heal or damage with her orb, she can heal or damage with her ult
As a zen main i can deny this as a zen first enemy you see you put an orb of discord and first ally you see orb of harmony and stay near the orb of harmony

Moira’s ult is a strait up Kamehameha, charge up animation and all
can we get a visual effect while you're healing allies like they get a golden aura around them? I found it hard to see if the healing actually connected with people due to its animation and range.

Thing is a good Moira will shoot the ball at an angle to bounce around her not directly at him. Her dmg is okay, a good Genji could win the duel if they land headshots.
even if she seems weak.her gun is like a slightly weak symm gun which heals her.So if you do damage to genji which u obviously can in close range you will get healed .I dont know how much healing it is tho
