After 20+ years Kevin still laughs when the lions are pleased to see him. It's kinda sweet

Kevin is always in a great mood when he’s with his critters! And the critters love him just as much.
The voice and tones he uses with them is so cute and child like, it's truly amazing. ❤️🦁

I love how Meg greets Kevin with such love. 18 years with this lion is a long relationship. 💕❤️😀
I think it's so sweet that the lions nudge and pounce on you, Kevin. It's cute to see small cat behaviors in the bigger cats. ❤❤
I had a Malti-Poo 12 lbs. from 10 weeks to past 18 years. She was like my child, it’s not the same animal but the same love and bond. My twin brother loved large dogs, Irish Wolfhound, Great Danes… he would’ve loved this channel! I called him the original dog whisperer.🤗

I love Icarus' little air chomps when he was in the back of the truck... hahaha.. he seems like such a sweet lion! Glad to see him and Meg are progressing! One day you'll get the headbutt outta them! I feel they're both sweet cats!!
He is one of the sweetest lions! Yep, that headbutt is what we need!

@@JustJokes-bw4fs Not in the same pen in this video. Don't know how long ago this video was recorded but they could be know. I think Jessica said they would get the spray for a couple of months.

I think it would be cool to have a meet and greet with all the scantuary employees. Even the office staff and the meal makers. They all deserve to be acknowledged. A lot of us have seen George many times but not the others working there!

Me neither. Last I saw, they were still getting oxytocin therapy sessions in neighboring enclosures. I'm glad Meg has lion companionship again since she lost her sister.

Vayetse is such a beautiful boy. That long flowy mane with the darkening around his shoulders. Awwwe did we miss the real intro for Meg and Icky? Still it's good to see them living together. Companions in their late years.

@@ronskopitz2360 i don't thinkwe've 'missed' the introduction I think the whole process is being filmed separatly and released in their own video series. If you like we have s neek preview of how well it is all going. I expect another video of the process will be released soon.
@@SevCaswell I totally get it and that’s what I assumed was happening. I think some of us would just have preferred a little more linearity to the timeline. However, I know this is not a drama series and they have a million things happening (not to mention recovering from the wildfire!).
It’s all good, I jut think some of us hate spoilers :)

I absolutely love moving day they get so excited. Makes me smile and excited for them. Bobcat remind me of my house cat always talking. So happy that Meg and Icarus are in the same enclosure🥰

Watching moving day , is just a happy video ! Seeing the excitement of the lions ! Those lions never take their eyes of Kevin , and that treat bag ! Happy that Icarus and Meg are cohabitating! Maybe that important head bump will happen soon ! But Kevin , you will always be Megs favorite head bump! Glad to see Charlie is feeling better , no more headaches , no more grouchiness ! I have never seen any captive animals so content, and well cared for. The Love, commitment and knowledge Kevin has for all his amazing animals, should be an example for others to follow..
Meg is gorgeous and her greetings to Kevin is full of love. But she is a strong lion and sometimes she can be too strong 😊😊😊. Awwww, Meg is Meg what can you say….. the pride and joy of Dad Kevin. 🤣 😂😊😊😊

Aw lovely to see Icarus & Meg introduced into the same enclosure, pretty sure they'll bond with time & I wish them a precious speedy head-bump that will be the first of many🙂 Lots of characters are featured in one video for Moving Day & we get a good few minutes with each group too so I enjoy it a whole lot💙

You could do the same routine for years on but every interaction is exciting and surprising and will never be boring or the same for your audience. This goes for all of the animals in your care. Thank you!

Kev's epiphany about Thor's group turning seven is like every mom a month before their kid's birthday. Just pure shock and surprise and the realization of how old you're getting. LOL!

There was a dance in the early 70's called "The Bump." Maybe you can pipe some good old rock-and-roll into Meg+Ick's enclosure to encourage the head bump. 😹💫😹 Happy to learn the are sharing space already. 💙

Do you normally have an empty enclosure, perhaps for cleaning or for the land to recover? Otherwise how would you have an empty enclosure ready for the first lions to be moved?

It's interesting that the 'head bump' is one of the acceptance behaviours. I suppose they can't do a high five, so this is the closest thing. They're so tactile. I love it.
