I think you should contact customer service, and let them know that you are unhappy. You could have three different women in your household who you are trying to get boxes for! They don't know. And now, those three women all got the same WRONG shade of foundation(!!!) and none of them got ANY of the other oodles of options. Demand new boxes.
Hi! I emailed back and forth with IPSY a while ago and the person told me that when setting up your profile Ipsy goes by "less is more ". Try to only select a few different options besides the part of your eye color, hair color, and skintone. She checked my profile for me after I adjusted it and said it looked good. Ever since then I have been receiving really good boxes. I change my age once in while and it does change some of the products I received. Older ages seem to receive more skincare than makeup. Younger seems to receive more makeup. Hope this is helpful. See you soon Beautiful ❤

LOL at Sachajuan.. Saskatchewan is the Canadian Prairie Province. SACHAJUAN looks to me like the combo of the names Sacha (sasha) and Juan. Sacha was a spelling that I thought was pretty from the 90's when my stepkids were growing up as well the only spelling of that name that existed in the small town they grew up in that bordered on several Ojibway native land areas.
I like that she accidentally did better at pronouncing Saskatchewan while trying to say something spelled completely different than some people do while purposely trying to pronounce it while looking at the proper spelling. That just made my day. 😁

That brush that bends the one you never had before is great for putting on eye liner that comes out of a tiny jar. That brush style is my holy grail because its perfectly thin brush just perfect for me to have better control..

The icon boxes replace the boxycharm boxes quarterly. The ipsy little bags are still monthly. My icon boxes have been good, but I always make my choices, and they seem to do a decent job paying attention to my profile. Keep the unboxings coming, and I'll keep watching!

Alexandria, when you set up your profiles, do you use a slightly different names or initials? If not, i wonder if Ipsy just figured that you had simply bought three of the same boxes!? 🤷 Maybe try something different with your name and/or address. You could have one delivered to each store, your house, your folks' house, a P.O.box, etc. Keep us posted!! Love you!❤
I wonder if they just set up a few boxes and then just whacks lables on them so if you have the same name or state or something they will get shipped out of the same batch so are the same 😅 that's my guess
I loved my icon box this month. I love Gwen Stefani and got some beautiful red lipstick from her brand, I think it’s her brand? I got some great glow recipe products and the add ons this month had some great deals. 50 bucks for a 200 dollar blow out like hair dryer. Also just love all your videos and would watch anything you share!

I haven't ever used that particular heat protectant cream, but I have alopecia and my hair seems much the same as yours, I use heat protectant cream rather than spray (Redken big blow out heat protectant jelly) and have no issues with it weighing down my fine hair. For specifically flat ironing I think spray is more effective, cream seems best for blow drying
Tubing mascaras are the best. They are better for your lashes and is easy to remove without taking out any of your natural lashes. I use a certain brand that is fantastic.
Hi Alexandria , I think if you update your profile will assist your power picks. But the main factor for variance is your Choices. My understanding is that Ipsy have set items they put in boxes depending on your choices with some consideration of your profile. If you don’t make choices, you will get the same items. I have 2 accounts. One based on my daughter who has different skin colouring, skin type, hair, age etc. I tend to choose the same choice item but my power picks will be different. Which is great. Hope that helps.
Although I have already locked down my makeup preferences and don’t need to watch product videos anymore I always come back to yours because I just like your channel! I just love how you’re always laughing n it puts me in a good mood

I love bent eyeliner brushes, the shape makes me line the small zone close to the lashes with incredibly precision without my hand and wrist getting in my face. XD I get mine at Wycon, I have like 10 by now because they are my most used ones.

Ohhhh man! I completely agree that Ipsy does not follow your profile. They have told me in emails to rate your products every month because that helps them to be able to customize your items for you. They also told me in emails that sometimes rating products that less is more. Meaning that even if the product is good but you don’t want to keep getting this kind of stuff to give it the lowest rating possible. So I have done that but in the part where I write why I have only given it one star I say I don’t like doing this because I really like this brand but I don’t want brow products. So if people or even the brand is reading some reviews they see why I have given it a one star rating

Wow I didn't know Gwen had lipsticks that weren't red. 😂 I don't know why they do foundations unless they let you pick your color because no matter what skin tone you put in your profile there will be multiple foundations to choose from for each skin tone. 1st box was good, I'd be happy with it. I'd probably have to mix foundations or get one of those color add ins, to hopefully make your foundation match you. I'd definitely email them about that.

What you need to do is make one of the profiles with a deeper/darker skin tone -only if you have someone you can possibly give it to or donate the unused tube to a women's shelter -and see if one of the future 'foundation' shades is darker like how it's supposed to be. I have the sneaky suspicion that they give 0 craps about the profile and just sends out the same thing to everyone regardless of profile, especially since one of your profiles is supposed to be ONLY skincare. I'd love to see what they do next quarter if all three profiles are so vastly different in hair color, eye color, skin color, skincare preference over makeup. But I would suggest that if they don't adjust to the vastly different profiles that you just drop down to one or even drop them all together, ipsy used to be good and now it's getting greedy with crap like this! It’s possible that people that don’t choose their items get a standard box. Since you don’t pick any of your choices you got the standard box times 3. I would contact customer service and just ask them if this will be the case moving forward.
It could be that the Icon box is "one size fits all". I used to get the Icon box, but I switched back to just my regular box after receiving 2 or 3 Icon boxes that did not fit my profile at all. The pamphlet inside further lead me to believe that everyone receives the same thing.
It seems like everyone got just about the same items. The brushes are not great and I think are on sale for $6.00. The only diffent thing I got was the Tower 20 highlighter they missed me on that! Thank you. I do like their liquid lip and gloss, so that would have been nice.❤❤
Did Ipsy for about six months, and I seemed to always get items that I marked as rarely used. I also got a lot of warm complexion makeup even though my profile says cool toned. Decided to try again, and the first box had two items from my rarely used list. I'm going to give it a couple more tries, but something tells me I'll be cancelling again.
I have the subscription for the boxes and the icon box and on the 1st of the month they show me two items they picked and then I can pick the rest. It's so much better for me when you can pick most of the items. I like it, but I'll probably have to cancel soon because I just get too much stuff.
Hopefully you have recovered from the allergic reaction to the primer. It’s no fun having allergies. I want to thank you for telling us when items smell. One of my allergies is from the smells of makeup. Thanks to you I have saved so much money buy not buying products I wouldn’t be able to use.
I think with the icon box bc its curated by a celeb in each box they put the exact same thing, and I think for the boxy charm and glam bag they are different however I am not entirely sure

You could hang brighly,or whatever color you like, on you tree, then flowers, then 4th of july deco,and so on ,,,, houll never have to take it down ❤

It could be that the Icon box is "one size fits all". I used to get the Icon box, but I switched back to just my regular box after receiving 2 or 3 Icon boxes that did not fit my profile at all. The pamphlet inside further lead me to believe that everyone receives the same thing.
It seems like everyone got just about the same items. The brushes are not great and I think are on sale for $6.00. The only diffent thing I got was the Tower 20 highlighter they missed me on that! Thank you. I do like their liquid lip and gloss, so that would have been nice.❤❤
Did Ipsy for about six months, and I seemed to always get items that I marked as rarely used. I also got a lot of warm complexion makeup even though my profile says cool toned. Decided to try again, and the first box had two items from my rarely used list. I'm going to give it a couple more tries, but something tells me I'll be cancelling again.

I got shade 2 of the foundation and it’s great! My skin tone is set to light neutral.
I have the Charlotte Tilbury beautiful skin foundation in color three I would go for either that or neutral two if you end up liking it

I have the subscription for the boxes and the icon box and on the 1st of the month they show me two items they picked and then I can pick the rest. It's so much better for me when you can pick most of the items. I like it, but I'll probably have to cancel soon because I just get too much stuff.
They did change the quiz at one point after acquiring Boxy; I wonder if your selections were reset to some default

I want to thank you for telling us when items smell. One of my allergies is from the smells of makeup. Thanks to you I have saved so much money buy not buying products I wouldn’t be able to use.
If you try the tubing Mascara on clean Lashes, I think u will love it. It's superior to normal mascara❤
I think with the icon box bc its curated by a celeb in each box they put the exact same thing, and I think for the boxy charm and glam bag they are different however I am not entirely sure
