My first comment is that I love how your eyeshadow matches the boxes. Second, "Refreshments" is Ipsy's line of clean skincare. I got some hand lotion once, it smelled good but nothing special.

Hello Alex, that was a really good bag from ipsy $15 for $170 worth of make up pretty good
Refreshments is Ipsy's in-house brand of razors, shaving cream, shower gel, deodorant, and things like that. It's available as a separate subscription, but literally no one buys it (except people who sign up for the free trial and forget to cancel) so the products have been leaking into Ipsy boxes and shop.
I did like the free razor lol
I got the free stuff and cancelled right after!
The razor is nice but the rest are subpar at best in my nonprofessional opinion

They charged me for it even though I didn’t ask for it and took a few months to cancel it

@@annehedonia156 I have similar colour eyes, and supposedly rich browns and oranges make the eyes pop the most - with that said, I never really follow that haha. I would highly recommend to start experimenting with all sorts of colours, it feels empowering to not care what others think about it :) you do what makes you feel happy, and what lets you express your creativity!
@faiitha7693 I recently bought the Metamorfosis palette by b beautiful cosmeticss 😍 (yes, two b's and two s's), and I'm certain I can make something work, lol. I gasped when I first saw it it's so beautiful and huge! Really pigmented. I can't really wear warm tones. Even though I can carry both gold and silver jewelry, I'm mostly cool. ❤️
The bag this month is the usual bag they use for their Refreshments line. I think that’s the reference on the insert. And my insert actually listed the products for the first time in about six months. TFS! 💜

I had 2 broken items (out of 6) in my Eyescream box this month. Sent pix. I not only received replacement items, but ANOTHER FULL BOX, at no charge. Their beauty bag is priced near ipsy, but send 3 - 5 full size items. Love it! ❤

Be aware they start you on a trial for refreshments and if you don’t cancel after the trial ends they keep charging you. I caught it before they even sent it out

I was shorted 2 items in june, cancelled my subscription and still am dealing with customer service. I gave them another chance, just to be disappointed. Joe would have NEVER let this happen

2 things.. 1. Your hair looks especially beautiful in this video! 2. I think the refresh items are all the items you have to replenish because you run out. ❤
Refreshments is Ipsy's own brand of shampoos, razors, deodorants, etc. I've used their hand lotion in Citrus, and it's nice. Their 5-blade razors have a "patented" design, and five blades is what you want.
Ally you are lucky because you are naturally beautiful and don't need make up but I love when you do bright colours I think it really suits you.
Was literally logging out of TH-cam because I was all caught up on my subscription catch ups but so glad I seen you upload a new video gives me a chance to procrastinate on packing up my house. It's a Refreshments take-over because they used Refreshments bags for this month instead of new Ipsy zippered bags. It's the same bag they sent me a Refreshments order in a couple of years ago. They are probably trying to use up a surplus of them to save money. Notice the little pink tag on the side of the bag has a letter R with a drink cup on it. I received the Shades by Shan Liquid Pen, but mine is Black Onyx. I would much rather have had the Sapphire like yours. And, I was supposed to get the Trifle Jelly Juice lip gloss but didn't, even though I paid for it as an add-on. :( It was one of the only products in my bag that I was looking forward to this month.
They said they were changing stuff up to give us better stuff. Maybe this is the start of that, cause even if it didn’t have value, THATS A GOOD BASE BAG😵💫

Yay! I will watch and enjoy any and all of your unboxings, but opening a current box is exciting. I just received my box today, and it was pretty good. Only two items overlapped the items from your boxes. The Ciate London eyeshadow palette was one, and the colors are quite pretty. It will be going to my DIL, however, because it suits her coloring better. 😊

I'm absolutely loving the purple eyeshadow on you!. I stopped getting Ipsy, it just wasn't worth it. $16+ a month for stuff I probably don't want, Sigma is having a huge sale and I got 3 9 pan palettes for thirty, free shipping. I'd rather spend my money on that. I have a hard time believing Ipsy gave all full sized items in the regular glam bag, it must be why they shorted you on the bigger box 😂 I think refreshments is Ipsy's line of razors, shave gel, body wash etc...weird they were calling the box a refreshment takeover or whatever but didn't give any of their refreshment products. It wouldn't be an Ipsy unboxing if they didn't mess up somehow 😂 "we gave you a broken palette so here go spend more money on more palettes "...😂😂😂 every unboxing I've seen had the palette broken. Thanks for the video! I'd literally watch you unbox every single box in your house. That LYS bronzer is my favorite, all their products are good. I love the LYS cream bronzer as well. Your base ipsy bag was so much better than mine. Mine came in at $51 value. I loved your blue eyeliner; mine was black. I had three sample sizes, but I did love that the product price list was back. Loved the video.
I haven't gotten my bag yet, but I definitely don't have all full size items coming in my bag. I have an eye liner coming, but I think it is black. I canceled Boxy. They either don't get my items correct or they come broken due to lack of packaging in the boxes. I get Allure and the regular glam bag. If they don't get their crap together I will be canceling the glam bag as well.

That’s a really good bag! I’d love to have gotten the eyeshadows, they look cool toned, and they NEVER give cool tones, plus I would’ve loved that juicy lip stuff. Mine sucked this month unfortunately, it’s been pretty sucky for at least the last 6-8 months 💜
Cream bronzers and blush and highlighters are great if you under paint before foundation
I think what they meant by refreshments takeover is that this month's glam bag was a refreshments style bag lol. Refreshments is another brand of ipsy that just restock your personal Carr products,like shave cream,razors,lotions and deodorant. Refreshments is basically just a personal care add on option.
I love the Marina serum oil! And no hyaluronic acid, yay! It only takes like 4 or 5 little drops for your face, or you can add it to your moisturizer. Since you have so much of it, use it on your body, too... or send it to me! 😂🩷
