My late father followed the stories and history of this island and I remember him saying. Whatever was there is long gone and the current treasure hunters are only finding things left or dropped when rest was removed by pirates or previous treasure hunters .
Yes the sea beached the box and yes it's a flooded vault, BUT that parchment/that bookbinding.... All that came out was in tact aside from dirll damage. This box got breached maybe 5 times Maxx....but that box has more than half a foot of valuables in it - a LOT of those valuables are still in tact.

I mean ya it takes time to do this. They need this show to keep money flowing to keep searching. Where the pyramids searched in a day? No so let’s give them time. They literally are paying for this them self’s. At least other sites had more funding. They are doing their best.

why don't the Laguina brothers use MUOHRAPHY technology to locate the tunnels, passages and the money pit? or have they already found something and the History channel is delaying the announcement to take advantage of the large audience that the series?

Watch every time the little beard guy (I never bothered to remembered these
scammers names) talks or is featured. The little Linguine brother always turns
away or makes a face. The little Linguine brother has tons of disdain for the little
beard guy and can't hide it. Must be tough to work with someone for so many
years when you can't tolerate them.

I think we should give them a break or give them more money! We can’t expect results when they are struggling with finances since the show is slower than expected. We gotta keep supporting them they have found so many artifacts from our past and new things about the island. I mean honestly people do you expect them to dig a hole and find everything in one day? Impossible! Please let’s support them because I don’t care if all they find is wood they are researching our past. I love this show I love oak island I I believe just like Rick and Marty that there is something on that island. I too read the same reader’s digest article as a child and they have lived my dreams so please support them!!

Don’t stop ... dig everything up .... your rewriting history ... it’s amazing people did this. Sum time in the 1300 and still digging there in the 1600 and again in the 1700 ... a real treasure island .... keep going!! .

I'd love to find enough parchment/paper/book bindings to determine what is actually in the hole.
Cant you send a big magnet into the hole like they do with magnet fishing and see what metals are down there .
Gold, silver and copper are not magnetic.

No way. There's a reason they are still digging. The city even invested a mil and half into this dig. They know something.
My guess is that the Lagina brothers have a few anonymous outside investors involved, along with the History Channel kicking in some finances, and possibly the Canadian Government as well. Marty's always seemed to be a very shrewd businessman and negotiator.

Am I the only one that knows any Well driller can tell you wood is found over 500ft into solid earth all the time. All over the world.

So Season 5 being set up with the stupidest excuse in history, the only things that are going to survive 200 years in a non waterproof wood box buried in thousands of tons of dirt is going to be metals or stone.
It's just so sad that everything has been taken away by prior people. I love the intrigue but what a waste of time and money.

What ever was buried at Oak Island has been moved along time ago. Today's tech should take no time finding what ever they think might be there...Nobody could bury something that hard to dig up from the 1500 AD.
