Que the announcer: "A castor from the 1970's ?...On Oak Island? Could it be that the Knights Templar used this modern castor to help wheel the treasure into the money pit? Time Travel theorists say yes."
This show could be cool if it weren't for the ridiculous announcer statements like this. That, and the useless Jack dude who has worn the same shirt for 8 years
That cart wheel came from the Home Depot two blocks from Gary's home. He ditched it last night and pretended to find it in the presence of Rick and Marty!
A bottle cap is evidence of a tunnel too. They needed to stay hydrated while they were in there working. The conclusions they draw from ordinary objects are just insane.
That might of come off of Samuel Ball's garbage can so he could wheel his trash to the money pit and dump it right in just like he did for over seventy five years. That was a garbage pit the British dug when they were there. The timbers came from his old barn. He tore it down and dumped most of it into the money pit. Then he built a heavy oak platform over the hole to seal it shut. Over the years the wooden cover rotted and caved in.
@Michael J.... I certainly hope Gary hasn't somehow conjured up the spirit of the 'American prophet' Joseph Smith; for, it was he who was Mighty and Large (in waving his magic wand around!) By the way, it is clear, to me, that Gary is part of a spoken (and unspoken) pecking order, in that Oak Island project: and, he gets the sense that he, with his wand, is higher in that 'order' than any simple 'earth mover' (regardless of how big the earth-movers' equipment may be). LMAO! What a bunch of clowns! (To his credit, though, Gary is an "unwitting stooge"...perhaps?) P.S.: We are somehow reminded of an episode of Family Guy, in all this, where James Woods is a guest character following a bread-crumb trail: and he intermittently exclaims... 'Ooh! A piece of candy! "Ooh!...piece of candy!"
New in season 45 of Oak Island. The crew find an iPhone 6. Could this be the iPhone that Tutenkamun used when he brought his ancient collection of Elvis vinyl originals to be buried at oak island? Plus. After the break, the crew notice some birds in the trees. Could these birds know the location of the original copy of the bible that is believed to be biried here. Stay tuned!
Gray's has it in his contract that all he does is detect and not shovel. Watch closely as Gary pulls a brass door nob out of his shirt pocket and pretends he found it in the mud.🤔
And they typically aren't used in mines either. That castor was likely used on a floor. It is what's called a "plate caster" because it has a mounting plate for mounting to the underside of what it supported. It's too big & heavy duty to have been used on a chair but it could have been on a more bulky piece of furniture -- like a chest!
@@leefoster9430 my best guess is it's from searcher related efforts - wasn't Fred Nolan doing a lot of work in the swamp with a bulldozer? Could have gotten lost off a dolly or cart and then buried. I will grant you being under that much dirt is strange, and I would love to be wrong and for it to be depositer related, it just didn't look like it was that old to me. Then again, I'm certainly no expert, just some random dude with an internet connection, so I could be completely off base. I hope they take that thing to an expert for analysis.
Certain views of the island it seems like a giant replica of the triangular swamp, and the round eye at the top. It reminds me of the symbol for earth on the tv series stargate, an outline of a pyramid with the sun directly on top.
So Gary found a caster, a mass produced type certainly not made before the 1880s. It wouldn't be an from an alleged depositor, but a searcher. That area has already been searched. Most of those areas have been searched multiple times. The caster appears to be of the rotating type since the top and bottom aren't aligned which wouldn't be used in tunneling, because the cart would largely need to be steered straight. That is why mine carts have two wheels on each side tied by an axle. The rotating type would swing all over the place. It was likely just a piece of junk which got buried when one of the searchers took a bulldozer and dug up everything on that end of the island down to the watertable and then relayed it. It wasn't buried in a mine, just mixed in with all of the other scrambled ground.
That came off of Gary's soap box scooter. He rode it to work every day until he ran into a tree and demolished it. He took that one caster from the front and planted it on Oak Island.
Wait until they find the careened (dry dock method) sailing ship in the swamp.. The deeper cut that is toward the interior of the swamp is the entrance channel.. And yet another shoal road is built between, then away from the two wharfs, such that another swamp feature is created on Balls/Andersons property.. My guess is Anderson sold the property to Ball for a reason.. and the wharfs seem to support something landed there regularly..
The curse is all these clickbait shows that don't never have any resolution or closure So it's basically four seasons of looking for something that doesn't exist or is long gone
I think Ole Samuel Ball made it out very well. All alone out there to do whatever. He may not have found it all, but he knew he had something good and kept it secret

I keep saying that they should bring Parker Schnable in on this. He'd have the whole "f...ng" island dug up and run through the trommel in about a day and a half. If there was any gold there he'd have it smelted down into little bars for all to see
