  • Hello TH-cam in this video I am going to be installing two Bendpak RJ-45W Rolling bridge jacks on my 4 post lift and as much as I would've wanted these to work they didn't. I am just sharing my personal opinion on what I think of them, but also they could be useful to you but not for me. I still believe Bendpak is a great company and will purchase from them in the future! Hope you guys enjoy and Please Like, comment and subscribe. Thanks for watching!

Easiest way to install the rolling jacks is to put it on a dolly and roll it between the runways and lower the lift, turn the jack extend the guides and raise the lift.

Bendpak makes a low profile version. For your cars you should have purchased those. I use them on my vette without issue.

You need to adjust the locks on your 4 poster they should all lock at the same time. Yours are clearly locking one at a time.

I do see what you mean but I do like knowing each of them is clicking when I raise it 👍

Not true!!! On 4 posts it's alot different than a 2 post lift . What's more important is making sure it's level when on the locks and level while on cable tension

You addressed my concern at 10:15. They seem to sit a bit high for lower cars.

Are you even able to reach the suspension comfortably after you take a wheel off? I’m wondering if the runway will make you have to lean over in an awkward position to reach everything. I have a 2 post but I’m looking for a does all lift but not sure if it would work out for me. I’ve been having issues with wedge anchors not staying tight and I’m just burnt out messing with the 2 post and constant worry.

I still think a 2 post is more safer than the rolling bridge jacks in my opinion. Also more easier to reach a lot more suspensions parts as well with the 2 post.

You might want to try an RJ-45 from other companies, not only are they cheaper, but some of them will extend more than the Bendpak

Yeah I have seen them but I bought a 2 post lift so no need for them anymore 😁

You can get some rubber blocks to go right on top of the jack to go straight under the sub frame

The instructions state that you are not suppose to use the rolling jack within a certain percentage in the middle or you could risk bending the ramps

Dude, raise the car at the subframe and place jack stands at the jack points under the rockers. NBD

4 post lifts are good for storage, oil changes, wheel service, and brakes. They are also generally safer for front heavy vehicles like a diesel pickup. Anything else a 2 post is easier.

I have never seen a vehicle fall off a 4-post lift.
      2-post....lots of those videos.
Besides, I'm old and can't get down for the 2-post arm placements.

    • @orange3203

@@mikejoyce3782 knee pads buy you a few years but yea. It's getting harder every year to bend down and set up those pads. A 4 post with a rolling oil pan and two rolling jacks is almost as versatile as a two post. If you plan to do all kinds of work and only have one lift you need a 2. The best solution is just have both. What's an extra $10k lift and a second bay in the shop. Pocket change lol

Those definitely are not useful for your cars. Take a look at the quick jack - a lot of folks using those on 4 post and can lift by the lift points. Just installed my hd-9, plan on bolting mine to floor 😎
