@@Miguelsgarage There are a couple of factors that determine which QuickJack you need.
      - The distance between your front and rear lift points (lift point spread)
      - The distance between the lift points and the ground (ground clearance)
      - The distance between the tires (tirespread)
      - The weight of the vehicle
Why a list is not ''super simple'':
      - The distance between front and rear lift points is not public information, so you won't be able to determine the QuickJack model needed lenghtwise (TL, TLX or ELX)
      - The distance between the lift points and the ground (ground clearance) is not public information, so you won't be able to determine if you need the 5000 or 7000
      - People have modified cars (lowered, bigger rims, or whatever) and might not even know it. A list will give a false perception. If you have a lowered car, the ground clearance changes, if you have different wheels, the tirespread could change.
      - Car manufacturers change their models, designs all the time. For example, newer BMW's have a way bigger lift point spread than they used to have. If QuickJack would say: 3-series will fit 5000TL model, that might not be the case in the newer model.
      - If you have multiple cars, you want ONE QuickJack to fit both. Meaning, QuickJack would have to make a combo list of all suitable QuickJack models for each car, so you can cross check if both models are listed on separate cars.
      And then there’s accessories combo’s:
Example: you own a small Porsche and a Truck. The Porsche has tight tire spread and can only fit the TL. The Truck has a big lift point spread and need the TLX.
      Solution: TL + extension frames.
If you are spending a couple of grand on a tool, why not take 15-20 minutes to measure your cars and check the measurement sheet.
      Or use this calculator: measurement.quickjack-nederland.nl
You can fill in the measurements for as many cars as you want and the calculator will tell you which QuickJack you need.
I don’t think the video and it’s caption, your lack to investigate in a product is entirely fair.
Edit: The list of vehicles in your video shows the visual locations of lift points but not a single measurement, which is really important to know to determine a QuickJack model.

I appreciate you taking the time to put together your explanation above. I touched on some of those points in my video and they do have the information above listed on their website. However, lift points ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT part when buying one of these. My QuickJack fits perfectly. All the measurements are correct, EXCEPT for the lift points. They do not line up and there's no mention of lift points on their website. I've come up with a solution. I'M GOING TO LIFT THE CAR SIDEWAYS!! Stay tuned!

It is not a problem, you are trying to make this a problem. I own a quick jack and use it on my wife's 2021 Mustang and my 2023 Tacoma and it works great, for the Tacoma I bought the SUV blocks so the jack will lift the Tacoma better. To ask quick jack to provide a list of every make and model of vehicle it will work with would be next to impossible because they don't have access to every make and model of vehicle to test it. That is why they show you how to take measurements so you can select the quick jack that will work for you.

I would personally cut a notch in the rubber blocks. Then set them on the quick jacks and use the pinch welds under the car close to rockers to lift it. This is actually a lift point for most of the audi’s (Porsche’s). If not I bet you can order a set of block made with notch’s already off Amazon. Just a thought but not sure if it would work cuz I don’t have a set of these yet 😂

But i do agree with you about how quickjack could offer a little more help with selection. I went on their website, they throw bunch of model numbers and prices and you are supposed to dive in deep to see what you need. Even a small matrix table with lift range versus unit length would help make some decision.
Some people said it would open them to liability, which is BS because it can be handled with a little lawyer note that says information is for guidance only and that customer should do their own research prior to purchase like you see an many things. A little more help would definitely be helpful.

As far as lift points, their assumption must be that if you're willing to get under the car, you must own a manual that would have told you where to lift it from or a ten minute internet search asking where everyone else lifts theirs. "My fault for not doing my research before purchasing." Yes. Yes it is. This is up there with the people that knock Quickjack when they find out they need an air compressor to charge the cylinders.

Line with Toyota supra show you BMW because IT IS BMW. You just don't know this, alongside with many other (real world stuffs). You are just crying baby, there is really no problem whatsoever.

This is possibly one of the worst reviews I’ve seen on TH-cam. Your complaints speaking nothing about the product. More about your inability to read.

I logged in just so I could downvote this nonsense. You seriously just wasted 5 minutes building up to "they don't list my car"? If you can't measure your own lift points then you don't belong anywhere near a garage. 🤦‍♂️

Or..................someone could do the research on every car ever made and gift that info to QuickJack for them to post on their site?

I was being sarcastic on both, my reply AND the video. Apologies for the confusion. I thought I was being funny… I called the A90 Supra a BMW because it is… here are my thoughts on the A90 Supra I rented a 2020 Toyota Supra and IMMEDIATELY regretted it!!

As a European and a native speaker of French and German, I don't necessarily understand on first reading the twisted meaning of a sentence in its context. But I'm trying to improve. Cheers from Geneva Switzerland ;-))
