Mega Mart offers free delivery on orders of 700k or more as long as you're ok with waiting a day. At the exit, they have a counter to the left that will assist you. Might help with the sweating your ass off outside assembling boxes haha. Been there, done that.
Thank you for making this video. I had no clue about this store, and with a quick google maps search, I found out that we have one here in Da Nang! Thanks again!
nice to know that something like this exists in Vietnam. Thanks for showing us a little bit of it.. And you may already know but to eliminate that flickering you need to change your shutter speed to compensate for the lights flicker rate.
Chad! You're such a cool guy and dad. Love your family My kids are mixed too. I'm vietnamese and my wife is American Mexican. My kids are viet-xican! Love the video bro...
I can see that your children learn a lot from agricultural produces from shopping with you. They also have the opportunity to eat a lot of junks. It is the best time and memorable thing for their youth.
Chad, I was getting banh tieu in d3 and there was this bun bo place a few buildings down kim huong. I couldn't help but notice while enjoying my banh tieu, how busy this bun bo place was. In case you didn't know about it maybe check it out. I think I will when i come back in march
New to your channel. Love the way you are engaging with your family; a great male role model that our society needs. I wonder if you can make your box before going in to shop so you can avoid packaging outside?
This one used to need membership because they used to sell in bulk and need to limit out normal customers. Their brand got bought and reconstruct so the membership no longer needed. I still have some old cards that distributed excluded to government officers.
Use to be METRO CASH AND CARRY years ago and needed a membership but no more it was purchased by a Thai Billionaire and is better now Best place to get imported beef in Vietnam .They carry a lot of Australian grass feed meat that I don’t like but the Australian Grain feed is great on par with Costco USDA beef . You can buy grain feed Australian chilled cube roll that is what the Aussies call ribeye and makes decent steaks and roasts for 700,000 VND a kg They Also have Australian Wagu for 1,500,000 VND a kg Best go to place for meat
@ Not talking to any Aussies just talking about the Australian imported beef at mega mart . On the packaging directly from Australia they say Cube Roll a term I never heard before. I looked it up and it’s what called in America Ribeye cut . I have never seen any imported Australian beef called Scotch fillet ?
Ah yes, metro supermarket, that's what i call back in the day, im still remember it requires member card to allow to shopping in it but now im not so sure it still needed or not cause im stop shopping for like ten years or more
Okay! You need to take those cute kids to at least 1 US Baseball game and buy them PEANUTS in shell !!! and Cracker Jacks! They haven’t seen peanuts in shells!😮😅
you used to need a card to get in from what i heard, gone to the one in Hanoi, the singular item price is just abit cheaper than the old big c, i didnt check the bulk price tho
idk if it's the same in the south or central, but it is very very normal to have peanuts like that in the north. Boiled it, break the shell and eat it one by one
If you charge for membership in Vietnam, you won’t get many customers coming. Prices in supermarkets in Vietnam are already higher than average market prices.
Lol what did you say? Have you ever been to other countries? Saigon has one of the worse. Sorry I do love my city but the truth is no, SG is far behind.
Costco has a tacit agreement with its members. You cannot find higher quality anywhere for a better price. At mega market, prices for items are often higher than at a food store or normal retailer. They pretend to be a discount store.
oh, I found it by myself and it was called "Banh mi Han Quoc" which is kinda hard to find, I was scrolling all over the mega market website to find it 😂😂
American Costco is the worse, they don’t even have half as much as VN Costco, No fresh seafood at all, nothing is authentic, I don’t go to the sorry ass American grocery ( get very depressed, whenever I walk through the door 😢), still charging us over $100 per membership.
Well the general operation is somewhat similar I guess, like bulk shopping and need to go there with a car so you can buy a lot? But in general VN doesn't have many "bulk shopping" places, if at all.
what makes you think it as a TEMU warehouse?? does TEMU sell alive seafood, meat, vegetables and fruits?? Tell me a supermarket that doesn’t sell any similar items to this one, e.g. no food, no beverage, no household items, etc.?? then W.T.F call it a supermarket?? 🤨🤨🤨 Do you think US, UK, Australia, ASEAN countries, etc. not importing China items? Do you think these countries having no con.flicts with China?? fix your brain before commenting.
Chad is honestly such a great dad, his chemistry with his kids is really fun!
Your kids are not only beautiful, they’re also well-behaved! Good job dad!
Congrats on the 100K sub. Those kids are so cute. Vietnam has come a long way.
love this episode Chad. also, love the hourly breakdown- great dadding.

Glad to hear it
Keep a dedicated plastic table cloth for the clay- no clean up! 😊
In Vietnam supermarket member cards are only for some deals/points. You never need to get them.
This one used to need membership because they used to sell in bulk and need to limit out normal customers. Their brand got bought and reconstruct so the membership no longer needed. I still have some old cards that distributed excluded to government officers.
Yeah they used to only sell in bulk to businesses when they were metro but that was a long time ago
Your Vietnamese is so good 👏

Dang, no deal on Milano cookies. About the same price as US
M&M my favorite supermarket in Saigon 👍
Dang, just ordered a bookshelf. I like that one!
It is really nice
~ Gotta check that place out!
put parchment down on the table when they are playing with clay
Do we need membership and how much for it ? happy family 👍🙏🥰
Ah so like Federweisser, german style new wine
70k is not $1.94 btw. It’s almost $3
2 million for how many kg of premium beef, it seems ridiculously expensive😬
👍👍
A bottle of alcohol same price as garbage bags.... i wish

Is it me or are those prices really expensive and I live in Canada
1:40 you ordered milk coffee but the subtitle said "iced coffee"?
Yeah and one cup with less milk but it subtitled less sugar.
a full cart in vietnam less then $200............... a full cart in costco america is 600$+ ...........same products
GDP per capita in America is $86k whereas it is $4.6k in Vietnam. $600 is way too cheap in America.
14:00 cause megamall is thai company they buy lot of thai stuff over local produce 😂 local rarely buy stuff in megamall
Pointing with your feet, Chad? Haven’t learned that’s rude yet?😅
👍
11:05 Its 200k for 5 packs

"TEMU" version of Costco cough cough clickbait.
Dragonfruit not that sweet there the ones i grown here in California are better

Costco is a Giant Vinmart , Costco sells products from across the world, there is no comparison
Costco? Clickbait
That’s not Costco!😑
It makes me sad what you feed your kids
I hate when people compare the mega market to Costco, it's like comparing Banh Mi to Subway ... You can make your own mind up about that comparison 😅
Well the general operation is somewhat similar I guess, like bulk shopping and need to go there with a car so you can buy a lot? But in general VN doesn't have many "bulk shopping" places, if at all.
It's.. not that deep. It's really not.
calm downn
ok karen
Bad compare between the two banh mi win subway losers.
Ewww mega market sux lol
It's a giant TEMU warehouse 😅... and they talk about VN trying to fight China 😅 ..these places on exits due to china trade

@honeychan87 the dry good honey
Prices seem very high for Vietnam. For e.g. the book shelf you first looked at for $100 usd!?
Supermarket price. Most things you see at a supemarket you can find in markets and shops for much cheaper.
