Wierd how Karl's reason for the channel name, is exactly why I thought for months that Karl was a presenter for a organisation called Fact Fiend, and not the owner/creater/presenter/researcher for the channel.
Lol same. Because in my mind it makes more sense to say (for example) "my TH-cam channel by me," not "my TH-cam channel with me," like in my mind you only need to say it's with someone if they don't own the channel, and are just a presenter. I Hope I'm making sense, I'm pretty sleep deprived right now.

Your channel became one of my favorites because of how its like a typical hang out with friends in a sense that you talk about a topic drift off and then quickly return to the topic which has then spun off into other interesting topics which you return to in other videos. Also screw the punctuation and grammer checks

In a time of censored COPPA bullshit channels you are a breath of fresh air and your unprofessionalism and conversations fit well with your smartass attitude that I fucking love. “Karl thought it would be funny to make the videos look shitty” which is just a testament to your character and it’s why we watch.

I love how I can get hooked by a video title, have the main title topic mentioned, and listen to like 10-15 minutes of random banter or semi related facts before getting the point and be entertained by you, your personality and knowledge. yet if I watch a channel that has like a 30 second intro I’m immediately pissed and want them to get to the point. If there was one person to share a drink and conversation with, it would be Karl

I like this channel cuz u was u, and no make anything by demand, so many content creators always using their own life to show off so much of their social background and overexposing themselves in the desperation to get more views is so fake it sucks
It's a relief to see a person talking like a normal person, this is one of the charms of the channel, very simple and yet rare

Inexplicably very memorable to me. Not for juvenile reasons. It's just somehow simultaneously simple and unique, at least in North America, I don't know how common it is in Europe.

Karl, You are an enigma. You are simultaneously proudly immature, but also achieve many feats of maturity that most elderly people never attain. The chief of which is rejecting money and recognise that you earn enough. Or at least I hope that's the situation, and you don't actually live in squalor, have no savings, no retirement plan, and will end up working on the tills at B&M bargains at 85.

But there was a long time where I thought you *were* the fact fiend. I knew it was your work, but tag names and online handles are a thing.
I don't interact with your videos much sadly, but that's only because you're so damn entertaining, I listen to your videos nonstop while I'm working. This is the best, most interesting channel I've found so far.
I love the shoddy green screen effect and the off topic conversations, they add a unique charm to the channel I haven't seen elsewhere. Btw the part where you walked off to get a drink was hilarious.
I may be the only one, but I'll make a playlist of Fact Fiend videos because I love falling asleep to Karl's voice. I think it's the accent.

I think Karl IS the only TH-camr who's ever given fan money back. Also, I think he's the only one who's ever actively demanded to have his videos look shittier...these reasons are why this is one of the few channels I've subscribed to.
