My friends dad was a helicopter pilot for high end business people and the day he was supposed to fly a Disney Executive, the top propeller came off and it fell 40 feet during a morning test flight. Disney is bad luck. P.S. The Executive was upset about being put on a lower end flight even after he was told what happened. I understand being upset about a $3000 flight being delayed or cancelled, but the man almost died and the helicopter was destroyed!

You continue until people behind the scenes tell you to stop, because you only want to stop the show if the problem can’t be fixed without doing so. If the actors stop and the problem is resolved right after it’s just an awkward moment. But „the show must go on“ is a strong influence too I’m sure

when i went to Disney World at age 5. Goofy hugged me from be hide for a picture. Goofy went to stand up but he never stopped hugged so he started lifting me up by the neck and i was too scared to stop him. Finally he noticed and dropped me. i use to have nightmares of Goofy choking me out lol

People can absolutely be declared dead on Disney property, there's nothing Disney can do about that. It's just that typically, doctors declare people dead at the HOSPITAL. Tys totally radical toenail it was the wind, it was an empty vehicle but high winds caused the vehicle to stall, there’s a whole thing about the way roller coasters work but essentially only one train is allowed on specific sections of track at a time but it was overridden by a member of staff who thought it was a “ghost train” (something used during testing of these sections) and manually made the train move off the lift, causing the accident

My family once got stuck on the pirates of the Caribbean ride for almost 3 hours with my little cousin who crapped her pants and Disney gave us a cookie (mom ended up getting us a whole free day)
To counter the “don’t take bags on” if the ride gets stuck and say there is someone on the ride with allergies and they have a reaction you need to have the stuff on hand. That’s why we have the rule of feet through the straps always.
If you have allergies and absolutely have to go on a rollercoaster then Keep it in a fucking fannypack. Not in a bag that can be dropped on the track or in someones face.
One time I went on a small world after being forced to go on it with my family because I hate that ride and every ten minutes or so it would stop for a minute or two and then keep going but then when we were in the room that represents Asia we stopped and waited there 10-20 minutes. My mom told me after we got off that she had a friend who went on it’s a small world and got stuck for a full hour, and now she can never go on that ride again. I mean I don’t blame her. Also last year at Disney I went to visit but space Mountain was closed. The reason it was closed was because some guy wiggled out fo the safety mechanisms and jumped from the car.

I'm surprised you haven't talked about the Build-a-Bear incident from the summer of 2018. It's not as brutal as this, but the company definitely went at a loss. General synopsis: BAB had one specific day in the hot summer weather that they sold all of their average $25 bears at $10 for kids under a certain age at every store. They later had to give out coupons with the same offer (for a longer period of time) that same summer as some kids suffered heat strokes and parents were mad and disgruntled that many stores ran out of stock nearly instantly.

The only time I've had an issue on a ride was back in 2010, I was there with my high school band. I was getting on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride with my high school girlfriend and our friend, I was getting into our boat last got one foot in and the boat started so I had to hop down the dock before leaping into the boat fully.

This may be an old video but on my first experience on the smiler I noticed a very tall, well built man in the queue with us who appeared to be wearing tights, like the sort old women wear, but as we got closer I realised he had 2 prosthetic legs. 9:14 there is a boss in a Disney Game which is the Clocktower outside the ride that has gone insane from hearing the song so much that, when you kill him, he looks mildly content before realising you only pulled out his face and the song continues.

My sister used to work as a parade float driver. She got an exemption that allowed her to carry her pocket knife “on stage” sighting “in the event of a cataclysmic failure involving the possibility of a fire, it is necessary to be capable to remove the safety harnesses of performers on the float in an expedient manner.”
Tony Hawk wears a helmet because he skates vert. Its generally accepted much of the time a helmet isnt needed for street skating unless doing a large gap or moving at high speeds/traveling near cars. Last I checked at least, I havent skated in a few years now lol

Space mountain is the nut buster, my friend in 7th grade went on the ride and it malfunctioned to where a metal bar shot up into his nuts while the bar held him down. Every time the coaster went down then up his nuts were slammed and crushed my the metal bar that was basically lodged there for the whole ride.

My family once got stuck on the pirates of the Caribbean ride for almost 3 hours with my little cousin who crapped her pants and Disney gave us a cookie (mom ended up getting us a whole free day)
To counter the “don’t take bags on” if the ride gets stuck and say there is someone on the ride with allergies and they have a reaction you need to have the stuff on hand. That’s why we have the rule of feet through the straps always.
If you have allergies and absolutely have to go on a rollercoaster then Keep it in a fucking fannypack.

One time I went on a small world after being forced to go on it with my family because I hate that ride and every ten minutes or so it would stop for a minute or two and then keep going but then when we were in the room that represents Asia we stopped and waited there 10-20 minutes. My mom told me after we got off that she had a friend who went on it’s a small world and got stuck for a full hour, and now she can never go on that ride again. I mean I don’t blame her. Also last year at Disney I went to visit but space Mountain was closed. The reason it was closed was because some guy wiggled out fo the safety mechanisms and jumped from the car.
I’m legitimately scared of a malfunction happening when I’m on a ride.
They also test ride the rides every day, matinee looks at them nightly, and the rides have lots of fail safes
Then don't ride, that's what I've decided
No amount of adrenaline is worth the risk

I'm surprised you haven't talked about the Build-a-Bear incident from the summer of 2018. It's not as brutal as this, but the company definitely went at a loss. General synopsis: BAB had one specific day in the hot summer weather that they sold all of their average $25 bears at $10 for kids under a certain age at every store. They later had to give out coupons with the same offer (for a longer period of time) that same summer as some kids suffered heat strokes and parents were mad and disgruntled that many stores ran out of stock nearly instantly.

The only time I've had an issue on a ride was back in 2010, I was there with my high school band. I was getting on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride with my high school girlfriend and our friend, I was getting into our boat last got one foot in and the boat started so I had to hop down the dock before leaping into the boat fully.
Lol. The roller coaster head punt was here in Atlanta, ga at 6 flags. A kid jumped 2 fences to retrieve his hat from "the batman" ride. Rumor has it that if the head were a football, it would have made a field goal from 20 yards. Fun ride. It's still open.
I was actually stuck on the Small World ride for that incident where it stalled for 40 minutes. I can confirm; it was annoying as hell.

This may be an old video but on my first experience on the smiler I noticed a very tall, well built man in the queue with us who appeared to be wearing tights, like the sort old women wear, but as we got closer I realised he had 2 prosthetic legs. The kicking the head off bit happened here in the USA at Six Flags Over Georgia, too! It was on the ride Mindbender. Apparently, some guy lost his hat while on the ride. When he exited the ride, he went and hopped a fence to get his hat. I’d like to think he got his hat right before the fatal accident...
It was the Batman ride. The girl that kicked the mental slow boy in the head broke her leg in 3 places. He climbed over three fences to get that hat.
I've not been witness to an injury at Disney, but I do remember half the park in Disney Paris having to shut off their rides due to the extreme icy weather. That day I heard the best conversation in my life

About the head being kicked off from what I heard it was a kid that climb a safety fence that wasn't supposed to be claimed to get his hat and lost his head, the person that kicked them sustained a broken leg from it.

this reminds of one ride in an Australia theme when 3 or 4 people got crushed to death because the ride flipped over and unfortunately, it was also a water ride. and the really scary part is that a few years before me and my family went on it.

The guy whose head was kicked off wasn’t a maintenance worker, it was a teenager. He went on the coaster and lost his hat so when he got off he climbed the fence to get it back. The woman who kicked his head off ended up having her leg completely shattered and spent 2 years recovering.

Fun fact. Back in the day house of mouse management discovered that park staff had Nicknamed the parks "mouschwitz " due to their horrible management practices...... The bosses told all staff that anyone heard saying this in future would be fired on the spot... The park staff quickly adopted the new nickname of "Duckau" instead.

About a year ago I heard about a guy that got stuck on a Tower of Terror style ride over a holiday weekend. The constant up and down didn't allow him to sleep and the g's totally messed up his insides.
My sister used to work as a parade float driver. She got an exemption that allowed her to carry her pocket knife “on stage” sighting “in the event of a cataclysmic failure involving the possibility of a fire, it is necessary to be capable to remove the safety harnesses of performers on the float in an expedient manner.”
Tony Hawk wears a helmet because he skates vert. Its generally accepted much of the time a helmet isnt needed for street skating unless doing a large gap or moving at high speeds/traveling near cars. Last I checked at least, I havent skated in a few years now lol

Space mountain is the nut buster, my friend in 7th grade went on the ride and it malfunctioned to where a metal bar shot up into his nuts while the bar held him down. Every time the coaster went down then up his nuts were slammed and crushed my the metal bar that was basically lodged there for the whole ride.
I saw the Aladdin thing via a video. They didn't fall off, but they were screaming and the audience was escorted out.

The decapitation incident happened to a kid who hopped the fence to recover his hat after it flew off on the Batman ride at six flags. The ride dips so low at this point that I remeber, as kids, we could actually kick the gravel on the ground and seems it flying 100`s of feet injury the rest of the park. Will in the decapitation incident, a lady's leg was completely shattered from the knee down when it kicked the head of this kid recovering his hat clear off.
