Also, in response to your comment at 45:40, I do watch your videos and rewatch them regularly, as I'd like to start camera repair and your process helps me learn as well.

Your reasoning for wanting to do custom paints on soviet cameras, as you mentioned at the 26:09 mark is a very interesting remark. I've been wanting a Zorki 3M or a Zorki 4 for a while now and the reason I haven't gotten around to getting one has to do with their supposed reliability as it seems it wouldn't be wise to getting one without know by whom it has been serviced before. I actually stumbled upon a video from the person that gorgeous dark Zorki 4 you sent it to and I would totally love a camera with that type of paint work.

Having worked on these cameras for a while, I totally understand what you're saying. I can barely trust myself with these repairs :))

Hello man! Just wanted to tell you here as well that I appreciate your work on my Fed-2 and Zorki 1C! Amazing work and I really can't wait maybe in the future we can collaborate on a lacquer finish mod for one of them :D! Take care!

Thank you for all your videos! You might not think so yourself, but they are very helpful.
Regarding the paint. I recently saw a Canon AV-1 restoration video on a channel called Vintage Resurrection and the guy used 2k polyurethane paint (he used airbrush). I don’t know anything about paint, but the final result looked pretty close to stock. Maybe it will be of any use to you.

many years ago there was a website where the man who had the website did nothing but repaint Russian cameras but I cannot remember the name and I think now the website doesn't exist maybe the wayback machine would find it
