@@atf2940 thanks so much! I guess I'll be having a lot more videos with me not knowing what I'm doing :)) So more of an adventure of sorts and less like tutorials that people could actually use to fix their own cameras :)
Happy New Year to you, Alin! Good news. Let all your plans come to life. Yashikas beautiful cameras, especially gray. It will be interesting to watch the video about that cameras. About Kievs - camera with lightmeter is Kiev-4, without lightmeter Kiev-4a. The same cameras but with black plastic parts on the top are Kiev-4m and Kiev-4am, respectively. I also like cameras without lightmeter. Also, there is no film rewind button on m-cameras. Instead, a partial turn of the right rear cover lock is used. And the film spool is permanently fixed.
@@helgiles you're right. I can ever remember the names correctly. Probably my brain thinks the light meter is an extra option and therefore it's more logical to name it 4A, not the other way around :))
Happy new year Alin! Good to hear that you are keeping it up with the good work. In my opinion there is no one better than you in Romania. The Zorki 4 that you repaired for me went to hell and back and it works flawlessly.
I really hope that one day you will take an interest in East German cameras like the Exakta VX 1000 or Exakta VX 500. I have one in excellent cosmetic condition, and I bought it as a working camera, but it needs a CLA
Can't wait to see the series on the Contax!
If anyone can bring the Contax back from the dead, it would be you! It's good to switch things up from time to time. Variety is the spice of life!
@@UncleDon226 :) thanks for trust! I guess this year will be one of (self) discovery :D
Happy New Year, Alin! Whatever you choose to put on the table, I look fwd to accompany your repair adventures. 👍
