- Hello Everybody,
I suppose I meant to upload this video earlier in the month, but I also had a few left from last year I really wanted to get out. So ignore the Happy New Year.
Now is a good time for this colour wheel though because I'm using the Rosa mixing palette for a lot of my watercolour mixes at the moment. We'll see how it goes and if I get bored using the same colours all the time, but I like the idea of having some consistency.
I've used Rosa Gallery Azo Yellow (PY151), Aureoline (PY150), Pyrrole Red (PR254), Magenta Rose (PR122), Ultramarine Spectral (PB29) and Bright Blue (PB15:3) for this colour wheel.

Thanks for watching!
Hi Sonya, you’re right, the two yellows are very similar. Just swatch the dot card whatever way suits you, I stop and start and pause videos all the time. Dee
Great, thank you for the feedback re the dot card! I do hope Rosa will give us another cool yellow, fingers crossed. Thanks Dee!
Hi Sonya! I'd love a set by set video please! I do hope Rosa expands their line to include a PR254, cooler and warmer leaning! I have a more orange leaning PR254 from the 1st gen Paul Rubens 5ml set... When swatched next to Winsor Red PR254, it's absolutely bright and beautiful! And I'd also love a PB27 from Rosa Gallery too, and a better formula for a PG17. The pan I have is horrible! Very gummy!
Oh, sorry to hear about your PG17. I don't remember mine being gummy, but I need to check. And I appreciate your feedback regarding the Schmincke dot card. Set by set is certainly going to be easier to film. Thank Laura!
….. isn’t pyrrole red from Rosa pigment PR254…?
@@ThePortlandArtStudio Yes, it is. I really want to add them a PR255, too
