From personal experience I learned that "concealability" is dictated by the clothes and type of activities you do. Without bending, twisting or stretching your body, most guns are concealable. I work as a land surveyor and I have to squat, kneel, stretch on a daily basis. That being said, appendix carry is out of the question. I can only carry at my 3 to 5 o'clock. In the summer time my small holstered IWB Ruger LC9s is printing clearly thru my tshirt. The bottom line of my rant is that one should always keep in mind how and what type of activiry they do during the day when choosing a pistol for CC. Just my $0.02.

Have you tried with a dedicated appendix holster? The more towards 12 o'clock, and the higher up you ride it, the more comfortable it will be.

I am trying appendix carry, but I don't put my gun in the middle like that. I find it uncomfortable because I'm a small guy, so I put mine at 2 o'clock and canted forward so the barrel points sideways and not at my junk. I really like the 3 or 4 o'clock better, but I'm going to try it out with a Glock 19 with loose shirts. When I wear tighter shirts I'll just transition to my G26.
As soon as I get my bonus from work and my KS state license (I have a PA license now, but moved to KS) I'm going to buy a Glock 19. For some reason, I'm just in love with that one. But what about a side carry? I have some "extra pounds" especially in the front, so I can't front carry, it would be super obvious.
Shit I'm 5'5, 120 pounds and I conceal a glock19 but I also don't wear skinny jeans or tights shirts and if I got to dress fancy with a button up shirt I will use my Lc9s or shield with a tuckable holster. It's all about getting a good holster, belt and finding what carry position works best for you
I'm sure you can hide a even big gun there somehow, but it's more about how comfortable you are, whether you can you drive easily with it, can you can run or jump or do any other daily activities with it? Beside you are pretty slim, gonna think for a bigger guy trying to conceal carry it.

It's easier to conceal when you're fat. It tends to blend more with the pudge. Whereas I carry next to most of my friends and there's no give on my 6', 210lb frame. I show with a g33 on my hip, let alone a g19 in my appendix. My friends, most of them being overweight, could likely conceal an SBS on their damn side without printing.

Push Online, most people that carry daily make changes to their clothing to accommodate what they prefer to carry, but I guess making sure your clothes are tight enough and working around that desire could be more important to some.
imo, I think when most people refer to the g19 being to big for cc the vast majority of folks either cant or wont carry appendix thus the statement referring to being to large. with that being said I am a M&P guy however I just bought a glock 19 gen 5 and it carries pretty good....but I aint shootin my junk off. lol
I often carry Sig P220, 1911 or the G19... carry comfort is very subjective really when it comes down to it. The different body types, carry rigs and dedication make carry a very personal endevour.

Everytime I see a comment like this about appendix carry, those people have never had training. Guns go bang when you pull the trigger, if you keep your finger off the trigger while you draw and have a quality holster then there will be no issues. I tried carrying a 19 appendix. Just couldn’t conceal it for some reason. Got a Springfield hellcat and believe it or not I still can’t seem to conceal it. I’m 5’11 160 lbs. I’m desperate lol

I think it is because carrying a fighting pistol is two hard for some people, and they carry for the fashion of it. Further a g26 with a g19 mag is as big as a g19, a g19 with a g17 mag is a g17 in size, I carry plus 2s on my back up mag and the mag in the pistol. Good vid and maybe people will wake up a pistol is for fighting not for fashion.

Concealed carry is extremely easy for skinny lenky people like you, you could carry anything on your appendix because you don't have a belly. For fat guys like myself, I can't appendix carry. And it's hard to conceal something anywhere on my waistband. All different shapes of people.

So you couldn’t carry in your house, as you don’t want to shoot holes in floors or walls. You couldn’t stow the weapon in your vehicle, because no matter where it’s pointing it’s always pointing at some portion of the vehicle.
Safety nuts need to chill. Your house, your gun, your wall, your backyard and burm. Point is, you could purposely pull the trigger, and not have to explain it to anyone....except the cops that might show up. Just saying....
Betsy Ross 2a I know the test you’re talking about. It was Chuck Taylor evaluating the gen2 g17. I have no doubt that the gen4 and 5 guns are great. There’s a guy on TH-cam that has 61,000 rounds through a gen4 19 and its still going strong. For me I’ll always be a gen3 fan. That’s the gun the Glock reputation was built on. Gen4&5 guns aren’t allowed in California so they’ll keep making the gen3 but you don’t see them as much in gun shops anymore you have to order one.
Betsy Ross 2a Just a little piece of info my gen3 19 has over 68,000 rounds through it I just replace the springs as needed. The only part that ever broke was the trigger return spring which only cost me a couple of bucks. Other than a couple of stovepipe malfunctions it’s been outstanding
Betsy Ross 2a Oh yeah it’s definitely got some holster wear. My brother has a gen5 17 and I think the finish on the the gen5 might be just as good as the older ones he’s had a lot of rounds through it now and lots of holster presentations no wear at all.

That's my problem I don't wear the baggiest of shirts my 380 is concealed great but want a bigger 9mm and thinking I'll never be able to carry it.

Glock 19. Alien gear holster at 3:00. I've carried everywhere with just a T shirt. It's more about your mindset. Minimal printing is ok. Great video.
