    Good video. Can I say that if Hickok45 can routinely hit a 2ft diameter gong with a G19 out of the box at 80 yds, then it's quite accurate enough for me!

    • @sbostonva
      @sbostonva 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hickok45 amazes me. He has video's posted hitting that gong with little pocket pistols and derringers. Of course I suppose anyone who fired as many rounds in their life as he has should be that good.

    Bought my first pistol one year ago, went with Glock 19. I have owned shot guns and rifles my whole entire life and just bought a pistol. I love my G19. That's why I'm watching this video now. Lol I need a 26 now. I plan to carry between both.

      That's it. I am just changing the sights and maybe the backplate. Other than that, all stock. If I have to use the gun in a self defense situation, I don't want a decked out gun being held against me. Just a simple one I used to save my life and the lives of my loved ones.

    I live in a small town, I was being a dingle Berry, and had to drop my books off to The Public Library, at 11:30 at night... they were due in the morning... I parked right at the library, and used the little book drop, slot thing...I was talking to myself outloud though and cracking jokes to myself...Just being a goober like I had the whole place to myself, which I thought I did... the place is very well lit..feels safe, but once I got back to my car..I started driving away, and I heard someone screaming at me from The Library, particularly at me, trying to get my attention and come back and talk to them... I just feel kinda violated I felt so safe...yet there was someone watching me the whole time, now they are screaming and wanting me to give them attention...its an unsettling feeling...I just drove off....yet I do want my CCW now....

    Is this a good CCW for a smaller woman? What carry positions/holsters work best for IWB?

    • @nsaad3048
      @nsaad3048 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd go with a slimmer gun. Smaller hands can manipulate controls better. If you wear tighter clothes, it also won't show easily. Whereas this one kind of will. And with modern innovation you should have good mag capacity options.
      The trick is, they require much more training/practice and will not be nearly as enjoyable to shoot while getting said practice.
      See about good kydex holsters that have a smooth leather backside to them. Cross breed is what I use.

      I have an m&p for $100 less than a glock and has never failed excluding ammo failure not gun failure, in over 1500 rounds amd has steel sights that are 3 dot and better backstrap system and also came with 3 mags.

    • @teamhex
      @teamhex 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's not the point Travis. It's expensive. They will run you over $600 with tax and almost $700 with a nice holster. When you consider an AR is close to that...that's expensive for what it is. You also have to upgrade the glock to make it comparable to many cheaper guns out of the box.

    Heres what i got to say and im not against glocks or any pistil that can preform or be a defensive and recreational firearm. Though i have to to say it but seriously if reviewers are going ro praise on glock, you may as well praise any pistol that is reliable out there. Never never praise one carry or one favorite sidearm. Reason is because if everything breaks but you will never have the time or energy, unless your putting out 10,000 or more rpunds per year that ypur going to notice a reliability change in a pistol. Im not discouting certain br ands but any reliable company can have a great pistol but seriously, who has the time for 10,000 rounds in one year. Some guys put out 450 and that is mag after mag in in like 2 to 3 hrs. So lets be realistic here. No one has the money nor time to fire more than 500 rounds per range visit unless you are saving lots of money, make good money or get so.e sort of ammo discounts. You will never see the results you want. It takes at least for most owners about 2 to 5 years to see a reliability diffrence of their firearm and other firearms.
