Easier to assemble than a 1911...
Tell me about it. Putting in the slide stop correctly is a nightmare. I've got an idiot scratch on my government model to prove it.

I carry my 19 every day. I don't go anywhere without it.
I bought one for myself and it was the most uncomfortable thing ever. So much unnecessary plastic on there.
Does it get in the way of unzipping for #1? What holster for the g19? Thanks for the video.
I'm sure you can hide a even big gun there somehow, but it's more about how comfortable you are, whether you can you drive easily with it, can you can run or jump or do any other daily activities with it? Beside you are pretty slim, gonna think for a bigger guy trying to conceal carry it.
1911 is heavy and uncomfortable and that's a fact it can be done but would you want to anyway note with the great choices available.

I'm very aware of firearms and safety rules. I was trained by the Marine Corps. I owe a striker fired weapon; M&P 2.0. This is my home defense and self defense firearm therefore I always have one in the pipe. I retrieved my firearm (holstered) while at home; gonna do some dry fire drills. I followed all of the safety protocols yet when I took the firearm out of it's holster my index finger slipped into the trigger guard and fired a round. I understand where you're coming from in terms of negligence. In my opinion this was accidental. What's your opinion?
I'd still call it an ND cause your finger was on the trigger, despite not meaning too

What gun belt are you wearing?
Just getting into concealed carry. Getting my permit hopefully in the next 6 to 9 months (NYS) Any advice as to what kind of holster to get or avoid for a glock 19? Btw I have never even held a gun let alone fire so total newb here even though I am 38 years old.

I tried carrying a 19 appendix. Just couldn’t conceal it for some reason. Got a Springfield hellcat and believe it or not I still can’t seem to conceal it. I’m 5’11 160 lbs. I’m desperate lol
Thats crazy man I’m like 10-15lbs more then you, same height, and a P365 or Hellcat disappears on me. Maybe your shirts are too tight? Shitty holster? I’m carrying a G19 with a Bravo Concealment IWB holster at 3-4:00 and its great!!

How is the comfort when sitting? Could you be in a car all day with a glock 19 in your waist thinking of going appendix route we’re about the same body type
My gut refuses.
As soon as I get my bonus from work and my KS state license (I have a PA license now, but moved to KS) I'm going to buy a Glock 19. For some reason, I'm just in love with that one. But what about a side carry? I have some "extra pounds" especially in the front, so I can't front carry, it would be super obvious.
I carry as well but i refuse to put a gun near my meat

Shit I'm 5'5, 120 pounds and I conceal a glock19 but I also don't wear skinny jeans or tights shirts and if I got to dress fancy with a button up shirt I will use my Lc9s or shield with a tuckable holster. It's all about getting a good holster, belt and finding what carry position works best for you
Any gun will print in some kind of way so I carry any size i want less headaches

Betsy Ross 2a Yeah I won’t quit carrying my gen3 it’s been too good of a gun.
Betsy Ross 2a I know the test you’re talking about. It was Chuck Taylor evaluating the gen2 g17. I have no doubt that the gen4 and 5 guns are great. There’s a guy on TH-cam that has 61,000 rounds through a gen4 19 and its still going strong. For me I’ll always be a gen3 fan. That’s the gun the Glock reputation was built on. Gen4&5 guns aren’t allowed in California so they’ll keep making the gen3 but you don’t see them as much in gun shops anymore you have to order one.
Betsy Ross 2a Just a little piece of info my gen3 19 has over 68,000 rounds through it I just replace the springs as needed. The only part that ever broke was the trigger return spring which only cost me a couple of bucks. Other than a couple of stovepipe malfunctions it’s been outstanding
Betsy Ross 2a Oh yeah it’s definitely got some holster wear. My brother has a gen5 17 and I think the finish on the the gen5 might be just as good as the older ones he’s had a lot of rounds through it now and lots of holster presentations no wear at all.
It makes me very uncomfortable that you carry appendix directly above your dick... in general I’d rather take the risk of a round going through my leg then my jewels
