- Hi Guys Today I made a Video tutorial on how you can put patches on your Boss GT-3 Series Guitar Multi Effects.......for as long as your Boss GT Series has a MIDI port at the back you can follow these steps as well.......Once your Done Enjoy to Explore some Patches came pre installed with the software!!

Thank you for this video ... very informative. Many people don't know that the technology in the Boss GT-3 is the foundation upon which most of the early Boss pedal were built on. The GT-3 is still a great board even after all this time. Thanks again for your helpful video!

I looked far and wide years ago to be able to load/save patches from my Boss GT-3...to no avail. Pretty much stopped using this nice stomp as manually reprogramming was not much of an option for me. This IMO should bring this beast back and maybe someone can tell me where I need to go to find some really good patch libraries for my GT-3. I just recently fired up the new Architech software on my BlackStar Core ID 20 v3..and love it. Hoping to find an affordable version for Ableton so I can also get going with a DAW that can handle a Novation keyboard like Impulse.
Oliver, do you know if the gt3 librarian program you led us to in this demo will run on Apple Mac mini with a 2020 operating system? I’ve learn to deep program this unit and I bought a 2nd Gt3 to back up the custom programming from the first. If the software you suggest will work on my laptop it would be great.
Interesting. How can I use the pedals for just simple midi signal on and off with my vst plugins in Studio One?
Hello. I experimented a lot with this device, but now I want to use it as a controller in the guitar rig 5 program. And almost everything has already worked out. But I can only bind the expression pedal and ctl. And I want more. Can you help me with advice on how you can program or give a name to the rest of the pedals so that the computer perceives them. hey i just bought this pedal board, i can not figure out how to do pitch change on it.. i want the sound from the " like a stone" song where in the solo the sound goes up and comes down.., can anyone tell me how to do this?
watched the video its ok but I have downloded some new up to date patches but I cant copy them into patches ?

Hello. Thank you for this video.
I just got my GT-3 and it has patches up to 85. The numbers after #35 change from a light number on a dark background to a dark number with a light outline.
Are these custom patches from the previous owner? And if so how do I save them onto my PC. Thank you.
You need to purchase a.MiDi conveeter to USB in order for you to save it on your PC and download the fxfloorboard to manage the patches you need to save aswell
@@OliverGatch I bought the MIDI-USB cable you described and saved all the patches to my PC. I now understand that the 1-35 patches are the user patches that are editable. The patches above 35 are factory installed and cannot be messed with.
@@thejrcitizens yes not all patches that are programmed in the GT-3 can be edited or replaced.

You still need a USB to MIDI cable to copy the patches of the GT-3 and save it on you computer then send it to the other GT-3 you want to transfer the patches:-)

yes bro pwede ka na mag edit sa fxflooboard and pwede mo din baguhin yung arrangement ng effects chain mo :-)
Hi, the website you have a link of, in the description for the download... it says it's not available. The GT-3 floorboard. Any ideas of what I could do?
i just tried it now with the same link and its still working even its showing not available just look for the GT3 in the list then select it again till you get the page where you can select the software using your OS and wait for the download pop up box to save the file....hope it helps!

To factory reset the GT-3 Power the unit on while holding [MOD], [SFX]. Then press WRITE.

double check MIDI connection on the Pedal make sure its the opposite of each port

you can do it manually on the pedal under MASTER
