    Check the part where you point out the bright lights. That button is for the smaller front lights next to the headlight. Brights are on left handle controls.

      Yvonne, just curious, what color combination did you buy? I have the Springfield blue & ivory. I enjoy it!

    The Scout and the Chief are much different bikes.

    What he calls the high beam switch is the power button for the driving lights.

    You're correct with the Springfield. It has the shorter wheelbase and narrower rake. It makes it handle incredibly quickly for such a big bike. Just had the Stage 1 High Flow filter added to mine, only had a quick ride but it seems to smooth the power out and run less lumpy - not that the TS111 with Stage 1 pipes is lumpy anyway!

      Yeah man, I wish I could afford a Springfield so bad lol. Anything that shares the Roadmaster frame would be amazing. I didn't know something that big would handle so well. This Chief though... for the cost, it's damn good too.

      @@InvictvsNox The longer wheelbase on the Chief and longer rake makes it super stable on the Highway more so than the Springfield. I like the Chief better for these reasons. Both great bikes either way you can not go wrong. Springfield might appeal more to riders who find it harder to turn a heavy bike.

    I owned a 2007 Harley Davidson RoadGlide I was planning on buying a new one in 2019. Stopped buy a Indian dealership. When the weather breaks I am definitely going to take one of these bikes out.
    I may wind up with a Indian. I also really like the Indians Uniqueness.

    Are you gonna ride the Springfield?

    • @InvictvsNox
      @InvictvsNox  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Open Roader I'd really like to, but I haven't had the chance yet. I don't think it's very far removed from this bike though.

      InvictvsNox the Springfield is the bike that most interests me in the big Indian line up. I really like the locking bags. I'll keep watching out in case you do.

      coming from a Scout Bobber, i told my friend who had the Bobber as well and also traded up to the Chief "it's like we went from Camaros to big block Cadillacs." awesome ride, handles great (all things considered) and you don't notice the weight hardly at all above 20mph.

      I have a '17 Chief Vintage; same color scheme: Springfield Blue & Ivory. Intimidating to ride? Nah! Like others have said, it is an awesome ride and handles quite well. It will definitely turn heads and you can see the envy in the eyes of non-Indian riders.

    I ride my Vintage daily and handling all traffic situations is cake.... including lane splitting and I have the bags as well.

      I have a friend with a Road King who really wants a Springfield... I cannot recommend any of the Thunderstroke 111 bikes highly enough.

    • @TexasMan77
      @TexasMan77 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      InvictvsNox - Thank you. Overall how's the quality and reliability of the thunder stroke?

    • @InvictvsNox
      @InvictvsNox  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TX Camper I can't speak to the reliability personally, but I've never heard anything bad. Besides, even though it's a dual cam, they're in the block and gear driven. The engine is a simple pushrod, 2-valve air cooled twin. In 2017, I'd be amazed if this fusion of 1950's and 1990's technology weren't perfected by now.
      In terms of quality, it's all solid aluminum IIRC. No plastic rocker covers to be found. Lightweight for its size and it pulls like a truck. I'd give the new Harley a try and then try one of these.
      Thanks for watching!

      TX Camper - I have had the Indian Chief vintage since 2014. Never had any issues with the bike or engine.
      Ive also completed the full stage 1 and stage 2, sounds even better.
      I won't be going back to Harley anytime soon

      not sure where the experience part was addressed, but if you're that hurt by "shit" and a little burp, maybe the motorcycling world isn't your thing. you're gonna see much worse at the average biker bar. and write off rallies altogether.
