I have a 2017 Springfield. It is some machine and after trading in my hd I never looked back! It handles like a sport bike and pulls like a freight train in all gears.
I'm getting one, hopefully this year yet - if the dealership can find one. Seems that right now they're rare as hens' teeth since the 2017 model lineup will be announced shortly. And I'm going to add a DMC Tomahawk SE sidecar, painted with a matching willow green/cream finish.

I love the Indian ... quiet and subdued, unlike a Harley! One ultimately needs four bikes: a scooter for short trips, an adventure bike for those days in the bush, a K1600GT/L for those weekends away with the wife and an Indian for those days when time stands still. The Eagle Rider gent would make a great bass singer. :)
That song there, right at the end "look at me i am what you call an indian" that very old song, what is that? I liked it, who's singing? sounds like something from an old movie or something?

hill start setting? I've never had a problem even on the steepest incline. The torque that the 111 TS produces is enough to pull away in 4th! Great bikes you just need to have faith in them, they're more capable than most riders.
Hey there! They're fabulous, and you're right. What we're saying is...once you've experienced a hill-start function, and seen how much easier it makes life, you appreciate it, and it'd make an already great bike even better. Thanks for commenting!
i love the green and creme color and i love how they managed to make an overhead valve engine look like a flathead and if they made the price a bit more reasonable i would be very interested but however the real indian motorcycle company died in the 50s and i hope this time they stay alive but they have been bought and sold 4 times since the original but even thoigh there has been decent attempts including the Gilroy era they all were way over priced and just could not convince the public that they were anymore than a new company that bought a name and could not live up to it....I hope this time the Canadians do a better job than the last three tries, but we will see and good luck however Victory shutting down after never acheiving even a 1percent market share does not give me great hope for indian even though i hated the Victory lineup and really like the indian bikes but bring back the indian 4 and then i will buy
Hey Robbie - thanks for dropping by our channel. As you say, it's a great looking bike. And it's a joy to ride. They have been through a lot of iterations, as a company, but where Indian is now it feels like a really worthwhile competitor to Harley-Davidson.
