Freddie was sick here, that's why he has the beard and baggy clothes. He wasn't moving around alot. Queen were the inventors of transitions.
It touched my heart to see John singing in this one. By this time they all knew Freddie was gravely ill. John didn’t like singing and Freddie never pressured him too. I know in my heart he sang in this one for Freddie . Greatest Frontman and band of all time then and still
At this time Freddie knew he was sick. He couldn't tour but he wasn't ready to lay down. He was MAGNIFICENT!!!!
Even though this was later Queen, it's one of their very best. Freddie Mercury was very sick here and had lost a lot of weight and was noticably thinner and more gaunt in appearance. He grew the beard to cover the lesions on his face from AIDS. Yet his energy and voice remained as energetic and powerful as ever. Great reactions!

Even though Freddy was sick at the time his performance didn't lack he is a Powerhouse singer and it comes through in the song Brian May's guitar riffs are awesome I love how they change things up it's almost like three songs in one

Glad to see more Queen reactions. I turned off most of my TH-cam notifications, but kept yours on because you do good reactions! Freddie was indeed sick here... baggy clothes to hide weight loss and beard to cover sarcoma lesions on his face. He barely moves in this video but his voice and energy are so powerful, you don't even notice. Queen were masters of harmonies, technological geniuses in the studio, but when they wanted to, they could straight up ROCK! Brian May's guitar on this is great.

I believe this is around 1989. Freddie was sick, but did not stop doing what he did best. I think the saddest song they did was 'The Show Must Go On'. Very near the end of his life, visually gaunt and ill he gave it all.
Got that right - they switch up within songs & switch up styles! You've done 11 big Queen hits...how about some small wonders? COOL CAT and ONE YEAR OF LOVE (both Queen official lyric videos, not done live). One sung in falsetto w/a killer bass line and the other stellar R&B vocals. Great fun!

This song has been used in countless commercials .. first used in Uber Eats several years ago!! Brian penned this song inspired by the words of then girlfriend now wife, “I want it all & I want it now.” (Anita Dobson is a British actress/singer). Still married to Brian now! I absolutely love Brian’s guitar solo 🎸
To only echo what might have been stated earlier, this was around 1988-1989. Freddie had been diagnosed with AIDS in 1987, but only told the other members of Queen of his health. So although they couldn't do tours, they continued to make music and make music videos. If you look at the videos they made from The Miracle (1989) and Innuendo (1991), you can see the progression of how bad Freddie was in terms of his illness.
How sad. Makes me cry gained a lot of weight due too the drugs he was on. That’s all I’m saying. RIP Freddie 🙏🙏🙏

Queen started out as a very hard band (early metal in many cases), but around the third album, they did more pop rock, their last two studio albums while Freddie was alive.... they went hard again.
My favourite Queen song…Queen’s army is huge…🇨🇦🖖🏻

He looks different here because this was not too long before he passed. I’m sure he was on a lot of medications that caused him to gain weight :/
lose weight actually. he took to wearing baggy and layered clothing. At the time, they thought this was the last album with Freddie.
His voice was better during his sickness he sang his heart out and you can tell in this song his singing is different and way better he hit those notes like nothing miss you freddie ❤
