Love my Aquastar Deepstar II, a sleek, compact design with a clean, throwback running seconds display. Mine is the champagne/silver version but in every color this timepiece is a banger!
Thank you for the look at all these microbrands. As much as we all like the output from the majors, the really innovative stuff is coming from these upstarts.
Some surprise beauties here. Loving my Tuseno Shellbackv2. Micro brands offer some unique variations to the rotation at an affordable cost. Love em. See u at the fair in NYC
0:59 High end pocket knife for the sole purpose of unboxing another high end pocket knife to unbox another high end pocket knife. The cycle never ends.
Your categories are dead on! My collection: EDC: Lum-Tec Solar Marine Look at my watch: Farer Lander IV Vintage: Vaer C3 “Korean Field” Born in the wrong era: Baltic Prismic
Recently preordered the Beaubleu Seconde Francaise with the floating second hand. I think it’s really going to level up Beaubleu’s reputation. Excited to get it in hand!
I have an additional persona suggestion: the „Kevin Oleary Red October Special“ 😉: Trafford Crossroads Terlingua Furlan Marri Rosso Grigio Stella Breslin Raspberry Farer Tonneau London
Loved this video. Please give more love to the micros. My favorites were the echo which my wife loved and the Nivada. Both lovely pieces that I will pick up on the future
It's good to see so many brands (major brands and microbrands) driving the development of more reasonably sized watches. This is due in part to microbrands using more manual wind calibers such as the ETA 7001 and Selitta 210, as well as smaller and thinner automatic calibers. I hope this is a trend that stays with us. I want most of all to see a modern 36mm Polerouter.
I bought a watch from AMZWATCH lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
I just picked up a used Weiss Standard Issue Field Watch, and I really like it. Consider doing a video on this small American watchmaker sometime. The watch is in a nice oversized (for field watches) 42mm case, which is a great niche for those of us who like field watches but also have large wrists and a preference for larger watches.
Fantastic video Teddy, I love when you cover more niche brands and models! And very glad to finally see BeauBleu get some mainstream coverage - their new model has in in house movement and a beguiling floating seconds hand (*circle)
Great video! Not sure where I would land among those collectors! I have a few micro-brands and my three would be my Christopher Ward C63 GMT White Dial, my Farer Discovery Olive on the Bracelet, and my Wren Diver One. Keep up the great work!!
Great video Teddy and team! Really enjoyed the differences between the personas and definitely look forward to you exploring more microbrands in the future! Would be honored to be a part of that and thanks again for all that you do!
One microbrand I like is Wise out of Thailand. I have a couple of their watches now and have been happy with them. Perhaps they can make the next roundup of microbrands.
Great job highlighting some brands I’d never heard of before. That Aquastar is killer. How do you feel about the French brand Yema? They’re making in-house movements these days and are positioning themselves well in the sub 2K price category.
Nice one Teddy. Some great watches reviewed here. I've had my eye on an Echo-neutra for a while and just bought the non-gmt Wolbrook skindiver: It's a great watch.
This is one of your best videos yet, Teddy. And that's saying something. I typically feel like the "wrong generation" guy but many of these collections appealed to me. I am a snob for automatics, only going quartz if I can't afford a mechanical version so some of these aren't on the table for me but I'd say I liked probably 90% of them. Nice job!
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from MAMACOO I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
So much fun. Bring the persons back and divide watches by price. You could reuse the same clips (yes, blasphemy). Or follow the persona from youth to old age with purchases getting bigger.
Hey man, any chance of a video for really small mens watches? Im disabled so have little pipecleaner wrists. Id like a mechanical vintage style piece for around a grand uk.
Formex is great. So is Zelos. Erebus’ second release, the Ascent, is quite impressive in my opinion. I really a don’t want my watches to command attention except from other enthusiasts
Another great video. I always like to see watches and brands that are new to me. I'm looking at my own collection which is a mix of micro and established brands. I have a Farer GMT BANZARE limited edition which would be my travel watch. I have a Vitreum Emerald Emerald Green enamel dial on order which would be my dress watch/statement piece. I'd need a daily to add to my collection so I'd probably buy a Studio Underdog goofy panda or maybe a Baltic Aquascaphe as I love the 50 fathoms vibe. I'll let you decide what type of collector I'd be with those three ;-)
I bought a serica 5303 that had an issue with the movement brand new. The ceo said he’d cover the costs to fix it and then ghosted me. I sold the piece shortly after. Buyers beware
Is there some mixup on the specs of the Nivada chrono? The sw510 is a 7750 variant and automatic. They also mention a Landeron 70 movement on their website, saying it can be both manually and automatically wound, which would make it automatic.
you were already the goat, but calling out edc pocket knife fanatic's use of their knives to just open other boxes of knives was epic.
100%! 😂
Came here to say the same thing. Just brilliant 😂.
This was a fun way to introduce some interesting micro brands. I agree, watch enthusiasts should not take them/ourselves too seriously. Well done!
Love the microbrand coverage! It’s a breath of fresh air for someone who is fairly new to the watch collecting journey.
Love to see micro brands get the love they deserve in this longer form videos! More of these please
loved this video! please do more of this type!
High end pocket knives only used to open other high end pocket knives! I love that😂
It takes one to recognize one
I bet Teddy has been into the knife rabbit hole too lol
Yup used an ultratech to open up another ultratech today
So many great micros out there now! My "holy trinity" is Formex, Monta, and Farer. Traska and Lorier also warrant consideration around $500-700.
Great picks! Mine would be Farer, Smiths Everest (Timefactors) and Christopher Ward
Traska, Baltic, and Lorier for me
I agree exactly with you
Formex, Farer and anOrdain, so I have all type of watches covered
Love my Aquastar Deepstar II, a sleek, compact design with a clean, throwback running seconds display. Mine is the champagne/silver version but in every color this timepiece is a banger!
I absolutely love these persona videos. Love them.
Thank you for the look at all these microbrands. As much as we all like the output from the majors, the really innovative stuff is coming from these upstarts.
Love the description of the personas... EDC fanatic and Vintage Aesthetics Fan hit the mark.
Some surprise beauties here. Loving my Tuseno Shellbackv2. Micro brands offer some unique variations to the rotation at an affordable cost. Love em. See u at the fair in NYC
Good to see Teddy making funnies. More of this please.
Great to seeing you give love to the micros, I have the Beaubleu Virtuve GMT which I always have people ask about especially how to read it!
I love that you touch this subject for us Ted
That was fun Teddy , Thanks ! I’m diggin that aquastar !
0:59 High end pocket knife for the sole purpose of unboxing another high end pocket knife to unbox another high end pocket knife. The cycle never ends.
Too true.
the pipeline from nice knives took me to nice watches
It’s a slippery slope. Now I need a watch to match my new Tactile Archer with its wonderful crystal ti accents.
Thanks Teddy! It's rare to find a video with multiple micro brands that I never heard of before.
Thoroughly enjoyed. The Aquastar is my favorite of the lot
Your categories are dead on! My collection:
EDC: Lum-Tec Solar Marine
Look at my watch: Farer Lander IV

Flipping love this guy Teddy man. Courtney did well. What a true gentleman
Recently preordered the Beaubleu Seconde Francaise with the floating second hand. I think it’s really going to level up Beaubleu’s reputation. Excited to get it in hand!
His balance of professionalism and enthusiasm makes Teddy very likeable
I have an additional persona suggestion: the „Kevin Oleary Red October Special“ 😉:
Trafford Crossroads Terlingua
Furlan Marri Rosso Grigio
Stella Breslin Raspberry
Farer Tonneau London
A review I can watch without being ‘encouraged’ to consider buying it at your website. Excellent review.
Great out of the ordinary video. Nice job highlighting watches I have never seen before. Well done!
Loved this video. Please give more love to the micros. My favorites were the echo which my wife loved and the Nivada. Both lovely pieces that I will pick up on the future
Great video and beautiful watches! I believed myself to be well informed, but you managed to cover a few brands I have indeed never heard of before 👍🏻
great vid, like the style - I'm stuck between 3 and 5 but that beaubleu piece is beautiful!

Space one has a much wilder and nicer watch coming out I have on pre-order, the tellurium 🤤 I can’t wait for it.
Great video as always. I would love to see an updated full review of the Serica now that it has the improved COSC movement.
I bought a watch from AMZWATCH lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.

An Andrew Morgan ‘vibe’……nice video.
Good to know about these brands. Great video as usual!
Very interesting video as usual, the last watch was the best.
Fantastic video Teddy, I love when you cover more niche brands and models! And very glad to finally see BeauBleu get some mainstream coverage - their new model has in in house movement and a beguiling floating seconds hand (*circle)
Henry Archer! Just bought their Verden GMT and it's incredible quality, even moreso at that price!
Great video! Not sure where I would land among those collectors!
I have a few micro-brands and my three would be my Christopher Ward C63 GMT White Dial, my Farer Discovery Olive on the Bracelet, and my Wren Diver One.
Keep up the great work!!

Please cove more micro brands, I love learning about new watch companies.
Love the Nodus !
Think I am that vintage guy. Love the look. A couple of the design watches were good also.
Fun video, thanks!
Great video Teddy! Throughly enjoyed it.
Whoo great variety here. Killed this one Teddy!
Love the retro vibes, even love that Watermelon. Some killers for under $2k. Favorite being the Lorca. 💀
Great job highlighting some brands I’d never heard of before. That Aquastar is killer. How do you feel about the French brand Yema? They’re making in-house movements these days and are positioning themselves well in the sub 2K price category.
I do own an Echo/Neutra Cortina and that is one cool watch!
Awesome recommendations! Thanks for the shoutout, Teddy!

The round hands of BeauBleu are similar design wise to Raketa Copernicus (or Kopernik, depending on transcription)
I love the Copernicus.
In fact, it would be cool for Teddy to a whole video on the vintage Russian watch iceberg.
@@14ericksona beautiful watch, have been hunting for a one in good condition some time already
If you like accuracy of +-60s per day, on a good day, than sure
@@SwidrygajlowArek you are still probably overestimating its accuracy 😉 surely not a watch to be used as a daily driver…
I have a Studio Underd0g (mint choc) and a Paulin (Modul A Manual) both great!
Channeling our inner Andrew Morgan, are we Teddy? Cute. Great watches. Thanks for the content.
I loved the personas they were great haha. Also some cool watches.
amazing selection of new discoveries.
This was a lot of fun! And as usual I’m drawn to most of these personalities 😅
Teddy please check out the military microbrand Stirling, not to be confused with Sterling/Sturling.
Awesome video Teddy!
Love my xeric!
That was a good video.
I like the very last watch.
Teddy, Im surprised nobody has mentioned and Australian brand called Panzera, seriously lovely watches, and worth checking out.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from MAMACOO I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Beaubleu looks great !
WOAH! I really love the Aquastar Deepstar II!
Its such a bubbly bubblelicious look
The Lorca Gen 1 GMT! 👍👍
So much fun. Bring the persons back and divide watches by price. You could reuse the same clips (yes, blasphemy). Or follow the persona from youth to old age with purchases getting bigger.
I have the Wolbrook. Wearing it today. I like the Studio Underdog.
Agree with everyone else in comments. Epic intro!
BRAVO!!! Teddy. Thanks
The last persona fits me best
I don’t really like or care for micro brands but that nodus is just perfect
Good choice with the ProTek for brand continuity since the knife collector could wear it while carrying a ProTech.
Love my titanium mirror polished Malibu.

Excellent video! Thoughts on Depancel ?
Please do a video on the best finished watch movements!!
Another great video. I always like to see watches and brands that are new to me. I'm looking at my own collection which is a mix of micro and established brands. Same thing happened to me. Ceo sucks.
Is there some mixup on the specs of the Nivada chrono? The sw510 is a 7750 variant and automatic. They also mention a Landeron 70 movement on their website, saying it can be both manually and automatically wound, which would make it automatic.
Great video Teddy, what about Furlan Marri and Baltic ? I think you should do an Episode 2 of this video
Do you have any thoughts or insights as to the Jack Mason microbrand out of Dallas, Texas?
AMZWATCH is a must for me as a watch collector
I have to say that MAMACOO 's watches are amazing!
Dear Teddy
Have you been exposed to the new Venezianico Arsenale ? I believe it worth your attention.
Many thanks
Great video.
I need to get a Nivada Grenchen. It's calling for me.
As a designer, I often use font and typeface interchangeably.
Does the watch make the man, or is it the other way around?
So, I'm a design major? That Unimatic ticks all the boxes for me.
Sure the badge makes you above the law, if you are convinced by that.
Hey, great video. Would it be possible for you to review some MAEN watches like the manhatten 39 ultra thin?
Cortina 1956, thats my new intro watch over 500.
Keep tuning into these micro vids hoping to see some Christopher Ward love
The Paulin Oh No watch is calling me!
Checkout the affordable Sheffield allsport revivals
Zelos, Wise, Baltic ~~~
Glad to see Nivada Grenchen appear.
Teddy,
Brilliant! What if I’m several of these characters?
JR
Hey Bro, Which Watch should i get under 10k thats not a crappy Rolex...
