Don, very true! I can hear that something too whenever you try to lock the steering wheel whenever you maneuver. I was wondering what was that at first, then I found out it was from the steering pump. Based from my experience & stories from FD users, dapat daw it is much safer & less pressure for the pump, hosts & tires that you maneuver while the car is slowing moving or turning to the side. In line with pumping the fuel pump, when you turn your key to “ON” doon yung pump sya together with the Dashboard play. Proven, I even asked that from the service centers. You will hear something pero very minimal sound (inaudible at times).
Thanks for the tip! I didn’t know that you can immediately drive the car (on slow pace) upon starting it. What I usually do is heat up the engine for 5 mins then turn on AC para malamig once I enter. (PS. I have leather seats that’s why init at times)
Speaking of AC, it is better daw to at least, open a few inches of the windows before starting AC then let the air circulate inside. I’m not too sure if it’s true but they say meron chemical something the 1st time u turn on yung AC. Can u confirm this, please?

Thanks for the support paps. 🙏 regarding your question sa aircon, i only crack the window open when nabilad ng matagal sa araw yun sasakyan. If anything, only to recirculate the air. I think modern freons are much safer than the old school ones

I use handbrake for uphill start. This is to make sure that my FD won't roll backwards considering road inclination here in Baguio City. I believe doing this will prolong my car's transmission life, longevity ika nga =D

Boss out of topic. My huli rin ba sa 4 wheels ang maingay na pipe? Like scav muffler? Kahit pa 1500cc ang mga kotse ? Kase dba sa motor basta 4 cylinder at 400cc above wala nang huli sa pipe.

Usually tinatanggal nun iba yan para mas free flowing yun exhaust. Mas iingay din siya.

Yes, 9 bars po talaga ang normal operating temperature ng civic fd.

Boss sana masagot, ung akin pag warm up, umaabot 10mins to 15mins. Bago dumami ang bar ng temp. Or ung thermostat nya, ilan ba normal na dami ng bars para masbi m ok na sya to operate? Salamat boss.
9 bars ang “operating temperature “. Check baka wala ka / sira na thermostat kaya matagal bago uminit (since naka bukas lang lagi daluyan ng coolant) or baka naka rekta fan ka.

Hello suki! 😅 mahirap malaman paps e (unless maramdaman mo na parang naka preno gulong mo) or naubos nya pads mo kaya umingay. Mahirap naman cgurong i angat mo lagi kotse mo para iikot yun gulong sa ere. 😄 so ginagawa ko nalang is every change oil, pinapa check ko yun condition ng caliper sa mekaniko.
Base from experience, naglock ang caliper kung after magdrive uminit yung mags (yung nakakapasong init). Yung tipong magsi-sizzle yung mags kung wisikan mo tubig.
Kaya naging habit ko na i-touch yung mags after ko magdrive especially kung natengga yung sasakyan ng 1 week at under the rain pa.

Kapag ba kumakadyot symptoms n yun? O sa iba parts kaya gnyan?
Kun pasira kasi pupugak pugak siya, parang nawawalan ng power kahit nakaapak ka sa silinyador tapos mamamatayan. Kun sira na talaga, hindi na magsstart yan kotse mo. Kun makadjot, more on parang sa transmission ata yun e.
Kapag first start medyo gnun kadyot tapos kapag nag warm up na nawawala naman so hindi ba sa spark plug din kaya?
