So good! Love it. I've learned all of this over the years in my marriage and it truly has made our marriage and our home Soo wonderful and beautiful. I get so sad seeing wives being so disrespectful and discontent cuz I know it could be so much better for them and their family!
Oh man, so many things resonated with me. And I love that final comment on how we aren't a doormat we are a crown. I love hearing other women speak out about Christian femininity in a time that is so saturated with toxic feminist. Thank you for sharing!
I need an audible example of lexy’s gentle voice when she needs her children to listen to her because mine keep laughing at me so I must be doing it wrong
My husband and I love this podcast and have been really encouraged by it in many ways- thanks! I have a more practical question in regards to beauty for Lexy. What are some of your favorite places to buy clothes for yourself and your children? Even better would be if you know of some great Christian companies!
I think it's very common for women to overestimate how unpleasant they are. I think anxiety within the circle of women/moms is so high and it causes pretty gnarly guilt and doubt. I am a horribly unpleasant person. Not exaggerating. I am the reason why parenting is way harder than it ever needs to be.
Your comment makes a lot of sense otherwise though. The sad thing is that many women get this anxiety because they won't trust their husband enough to submit to him. If they actually tried that, they would find that he's very capable of guiding her around those worries, or of taking some of them off her plate. I'm speaking in generalizations about the way God made most men and most women to be (of course you can find an exception).

Lexy, God bless the Sauve family. The children are getting so big. Christ is King ❤

Where can I find your sermons? You mentioned several I'd be interested in listening to. Thank you for the podcast!
The easiest place is refugeutah.org or to use our mobile app (just search "Refuge Church" in the App Store).

Are you sure you meant "overestimate"?
