I remember Tony Robbins saying that muscles are built when our body pushes against enormous resistance (suppressing). Trauma suppressed gets strong because we add the resistance enabling it to grow. Atrophy occurs when we let it go. All of this ties in to not holding onto ours or others poison, because if we suppress we do allow the poison to get stronger and eventually harm or even to extent of kill us.

I listened to this while reading chapter 4 of the art if war, 2 very different things to hit my mind at the same time. I achieved clarity. I saw true balance for the first time in my life and it was beautiful. I've been walking the way of the warrior for a lot of years now, but I've always focused more on the combative and warlike mindset and not so much on compassion and love. I see things differently than I did now. I am grateful for this experience, it will make an important memory
