I have a theory that people don’t actually like to watch films on TH-cam. Just reviews about cameras and other people talking about filmmaking. This was solid. Shame about the low views. Deserves more.

Hahaha I was just thinking the same thing (about films vs gear videos). Oh well, I’m still really stoked on this film regardless. Thanks for the kind words!! Maybe the algorithm will start sharing it hahaha

I agree. This is excellent and deserves big numbers Tyler. That said relying on the stats is a slippery slope best avoided. Be proud of what you have produced. You should be!!!

16 year successful filmmaker here. Conrad Hall said it best “if you turned the film into just flashy glossy images opposed to helping with the overall message, then you have failed as an artist” . I knew this was amazing by just listening to it. Only watched it after reading this comment. It’s very well done. Keep it up

I needed to hear this. Like Tu, I was presented a copy of the Book of Five Rings and the Art of War in my teens. They were life changing at the time. I needed this reminder to return to the Way. Thanks for pointing me back to the path.

This man helped me so much. His videos, along with others, helped me grow into a man. I didn't have a very good father growing up, these men have helped me turn into a man.

I've had back surgery and the doctor prescribed me (didn't know what they were) pain killers & I didn't take them. Dr. Minella a neurosurgeon asked me why I wasn't taking my medicine. So I took one pill and felt happily weird like I was a different person and that's the last pain killer I ever took in my life b/c I didn't like feeling that way. I can barely relate to your experience, but I can definitely empathize w/you. Thank you Tu.

@@TylerEdwards it was; the Vigilante Elite podcasts are ones that if I was on vacation I would listen again b/c the stories and their achievements are so impactful...when you listen to them their level of accomplishments both technically and personally are just...well I use the word humbling again...anyway..thank you for creating the video series on TH-cam....

Your story is amazing. You make me proud to be an American. I consider you a brother and love your passion. My Grandfather was a B25 pilot in WW2. You are an inspiration to more men then you know. Your purpose and your "Why" has helped me. You have been through 20 times what I have ever experienced but your teachings have helped me keep a level head and a positive outlook on life. Keep the videos coming.

Mind blowing!!! I should read the Five Rings again. I was once a young man just out of high school and trained very hard to become a Paratrooper an Airborne Infantryman. After I retired and done Panama 89-90 and Iraq 06-08, I felt I had no more purpose in life. I should start to look back and rediscover to my past what made me that I was back then.

Even though it seems so on the surface, will and discipline do not reliably overcome inertia. It only works if you are passionate about discipline itself! If the thought of getting out of a warm bed to take a run in 10° weather makes your naughties tingle, it will work. If you aren't excited about the IDEA of discipline nothing will happen.

I hope Tyler Edwards gave this lost man the hope of The Gospel: that peace and Salvation are free gifts only available through Jesus. There is no real peace nor salvation found in any other; just deception.
