Jordis was my favorite from Rockstar and I was watching the Voice on DVR and was behind and my sister called me and said you're going to flip when you see who is singing last and when they said her name, I was so pumped up. I've been wondering where she went. How this chick doesn't have a career is beyond me. I hope she takes this show, she deserves it
Well, at last She will still have Her royalties for a song She did not help write. Her and Marty sued JD fro writing credit on Pretty Vegas, which they had nothing to do with.
Jordis was seriously the best one on this season. Unfortunately she hit a rough spot later on and got sent home :( but she just posted on her Facebook the other day that she auditioned for The Voice! I'm hoping she made it, sticks to her rock roots and we get to see her on TV again and get an album soon!
It was only because she tried to hit the high note Steven Tyler part on Sweet Emotion. They voted her off that night I think. But I remember how great she was.
I loved her on Rockstar and now on Voice, how in the world can this girl not be a star yet?? She has a voice that can rock live with no overdubs, no mixing...seriously record industry people sign her already!
I remember watching this on TV and not expecting much becuase of the song she chose. I was blown away by her. I think she rocks! And I do hope she finds a great band to sing for and makes it big!
This band is just off the charts. Soooo fricken crafty, inspiring, their energy is phenomenal! I watched them at a lalapollooza in Germany on u tube. Got to be the best concert. Take me there.

And there were still more episodes of Blind Auditions left. Jordis is AWESOME! \m/ Btw, I picked the winner last season from his blind audition. The Voice is the only singing competition I watch, it's actually about the voice! (Not talking about Rock Star, only about what's on now & the past couple of yrs.) \m/
I forgot just HOW MUCH I totally enjoyed her on that show. I know she rocks, incredible voice, but man am I glad I found this on TH-cam!! That girl is going places, this is just the beginning of her rise to the top. Go for it Jordis, it's your turn!!

LOVE Jordis. See Mig Ayesa in there too..went to Universal city walk for the Rock Star SuperNova concert with my kids and Mig was a "special guest". I caught his shirt when he threw it into the audience (everybody begged him to remove it) and got him to sign it afterwards. Still have it. Biggest thrill I have had in a long time. lol
The Who and Dead played together in Oakland in either '75 or 76 ( I have the bootlegs somewhere in my garage.. it was October and if my fuzzy memory serves, one of the shows was played on Entwistle's b'day ). Pete actually played onstage with the Dead in 1981 when The Who headlined the Rockpalast festival which was a big European simulcast concert...I think he jammed with the Dead on the old Stones classic Not Fade Away...another boot in my garage that I'm going to have to fish out...
@TheMuziekmann There is a DVD of all the "best" of this season of Rockstar. Just look for it... but yeah there should be a DVD set of the performances from this season. That would be great! ... Lots of good artist!
if I can find the 2 Oakland shows with the Dead & Who on cd and the video of a drunken Pete playing with the Dead, we'll work something out because it is fascinating listening & viewing...

I seem to recall this song was performed several times by several contestants throughout the 2 seasons.. guess I'm not finished with Google just yet
The best part of Rockstar (besides Jordis) was the excellent backing band. No other TV music show comes close to the versatility and tightness of this band.
The Rockstar band featuring Paul Mirkovichis is now featured on the "voice" I didn't recognize Jordis who I loved on Rockstar, because of the visual and vocal "makeover" they did on her. Love her voice, she's a true artist who seemed to struggle with the reality tv. Hope she tries again because she deserves a huge audience.
dude it's a nice song about happiness, it's not a heavy metal song, especially, i consider this song an anti-depressant, just the melody and rhythm of this tune picks me up when i feel down and gets me through all of my bad days
the band was 'balls to the walls' every week during the run of the show. they set the standard for a band in any of these shows before and since. heck they took the standard and set it then broke it and set it higher each week.
The Who have been rocking for over 45 years...45 fucking years! Very few bands attempt Who covers because of the passion and complexity of the music...U2, Pearl Jam are the only ones with the balls to regularly cover the music...this gal did a nice job...
