Best thing about this series was that everyone one the show was awesome and unlike shows today, you never knew who was going to win. There was about 5 people that I thought could/would win..... Lucas was the best though.
I remember watching this back then, throughout the series, I absolutely did not like Lukas. It was this performance and especially the "Run" climax of the song that made me stand up and applaud. I knew he had won the whole thing right there!

Also I would like to note, for those who have not really followed Lukas since he went solo, Lukas has really come into his own-his vocals are outstanding-hes got that raspy sexy voice, to an almost 8 octave range, and the trademark growl! To me, he sounds amazing, plays all the instruments on his own tracks and records his own work. He is currently going to be on the music rock and roll ship late November with KORN, and others for SHIPROCKED! This trip leaves Fort Lauderdale, FL! Check it out!
Agreed, except they picked the wrong singer. Lukas didn't fit in with the bands style. Toby was the one who should have been picked, it may possibly have worked then, although the house band was better than Supernova, which was pretty embarrassing.
No big deal, Lukas kicks ass on his own and with the misc songs he does with other artists! Check out the song "Neurotic" with Lukas Rossi and Neil Sanderson from Three Days Grace. Also watch Lukas' version of Adele's "Hello". And one more I found yesterday called "Red from a Rose". OMG!!! Love that song!

You don't guarantee a great film by hiring three background actors from successful films. This group was probably always going to suck. I MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!! What a great show, but famous bands have to need a lead vocalists in order for this show to work. I know that Yes and probably other bands need a replacement singer occasionally. It would be great to see Rock Star rise again in HD and surround sound. Keep our fingers crossed, stranger things have happened. Maybe bands could look for other replacements, like guitarists, drums, bass, keyboards, therimins, tubas (The Roots), harps (not mouthorgan type), bicycles (Zappa)

The five people left in this show, it was anyone's to win. Lucas did a great job of every song he sang. I felt that in the audition stage you had to have a good song to bring to the party which every act did, its a shame Xfactor and whatever idol dont do the same. That said the acts in the quater finals to the end are world class and i would pay to see any of them.
god i miss these guys. the judges were intelligent and interesting, the singing was absolutely great. supernova may have faded away, but a bright shining star, ryan star, came rising out of this awesome show. thank you rockstar:supernova for introducing these two enormous talents to us and for the rest of these great singers as well.
I was a huge fan of Lukas when the show originally aired. Imagine my excitement to learn he'd be on the rock cruise I went on for my honeymoon. Then I was even MORE excited when I bumped into him; upon asking for a photograph of he and I together, he was very dismissive and acted too superior for a fan that has followed him for 10+ years. I lost a lot of love for him in that moment.
Yeah I bet it was. I'm disappointed for you :( I was never a fan of Lukas. I loved Magni and Toby on Rockstar. I don't think Supernova really took off here in Australia. I don't remember anything they did after the show. Or even if they are still together.
This is the dumbest thing people always say when they meet a celebrity or in his case someone you have liked for a long time. Maybe he had a long day and just was tired of dealing with people? When you get off work would you want someone coming up to you and probably being really annoying? Get over it.

I have to admit I was very disappointed when all the other RSSN contestants were out doing the meet n greet and signing autographs, photos, and mingling with the fans after the Supernova concert in MN. I kept waiting for Lukas to show up but he never did! They said he was upstairs hanging out in the VIP room with the other guys and whoever else. Pffft. Still love him though! ;)

What people dont understand was the sound the band was looking for. Lukas sang a certain style for weeks and then late in the competition opened up his throat and killed it.
