I just saw a video of Roger Daltrey acknowledging having seen this and offering high-level praise. What better endorsement could you want than from the man himself! Very cool!
These kids are fabulous artists. You can feel their passion. I love that they are keeping the classic rock alive. The vocals brought a tear to my eyes!
It was such an honor to be a part of this amazing project. And to be acknowledged by one of the greatest artists of all time. Thank you so much for this opportunity!!! 🤘
After hearing the original so many times in my youth, I eventually become sort of tired and a bit immune to it. This version is just amazing. It brought up new emotions, and made me see it all again from a different perspective. I shed some healing tears. Thank you, you all are awesome
Loved this rendition. The instrumentalists and vocalists brought their own but also kept parts of the original. Amazing performance and videography. Loved it! Awaiting the next video....💜🎵🎶
Extraordinary performance of Baba O'Riley by the Central Pa Youth AllStar Band!! How exciting and moving to know it caught Roger Daltrey's attention and to hear his praise! Congrats to all involved!👏🏻
An absolutely wonderful song. You all knocked it right out of the park. You are a very talented band and to get acknowledged and praised from legendary Who singer Roger Daltrey is the highest compliment you could get. Great job, keep up the great work, I am personally really proud of all of you!!
I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. These kids brought back awesome memories of driving on a hot summer night listening to this on the radio. Great job!!
Been a fan forever of The Who. Roger Daltrey's endorsement of you guys should be worn as a badge of merit and honor. Im now a fan of yours too. Go forth and become greater. You're all extremely talented. Great video Well done.
I am better for having heard that; and that is what a cover should do, make you see something the original didn't show you. Well done. Do you have a release for radio play?
I hope these kids, if they choose to keep going on their music career, find what they're looking for. They have the chops now to be artists in the future.
That was a great cover. You all did this song exceptionally well. I also have been a fan of The Who from their early days and still play their songs. You.tube has been a blessing for us all. Cheers from Australia, the land down under.👐😊
Wow! That was THE BEST cover of a classic rock song I've ever heard done by a high school band! I've heard a few, of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc... That was the best, with an ending sequence that was creative, superbly executed (that guitar work was banger!) and that fit the song to a tee-- so good that Pete Townshend could have possibly opted for it back in the day! WELL DONE!!!
All of you, fantastic. What really stood out for me was the piano player and the guitarist. Years from now when I hear you on a track I'll know your sound. Rare talent.
What a thrill it must have been to cover this classic. I would have loved to be able to do that in 1972, but nobody was willing to even attempt to play Who songs. The greatest hurdle at the time, and probably remains finding vocalists to perform. Even now at age 68, I’d love to play Who songs recorded with Keith Moon. People just don’t have the passion to try. Fantastic cover!
Wow,I usually don't dig covers but this.....This is AMAZING! I especially love the Lil twist in music at the end with the piano 🎹 😍 💕 Love it!!!! ❤️ Great job to alllll!
As a long time Who fan and a Gen X'er just want to say you kids did a phenomenal job! Love it... I now have a little more hope for the future of music, knowing you young musicians are out there. Stay true to the music, and don't let the industry snap you up and destroy you.
These kids are INCREDIBLY talented. And their rendition brings new excitement to the original absolute monster tune ! My only slight complaint is the drummer occasionally seems to be a quarter to a half beat behind at times. Otherwise a great version.
Bravo young folks, you do this piece some serious justice. My only critique, BIGGER drums. On Baba O'Reilly you feel the drum through your body, and IMHO, that deep thump lends weight to the story of the song.
Ok, I admit being old. My first recollections of rock goes all the way back to Tommy Roe singing "Dizzy", all the way to "Brick in the Wall" from Pink Floyd. I am a Boomer through and through, you guys sooo understand rock-and-roll. You guys and seeing the Ally Venable band in Pittsburgh a couple years ago has me hopeful in saying another (Who) contribution, "Long live rock" !! :)
Hey, pretty cool stuff. Maybe it's no coincidence that central pa is also the home of the big black building and the brothers. Good luck to you all, whether it's in the group or your own personal endeavors.
I'm very impressed being an avid Who fan and Levi is my last name (Charles Levi) and I'm a Bass player myself. Keep driving your musical Dreams. Look me up fellow Bass player look up Jaco Pastorius, John Entwistle and others
Ok stuff but KEITH MOON'S FRANTIC UNPREDICTABLE DRUMMING IS MISSING. So, it sounds boring and slow. No violence behind it This is an angry song mixed with cautious optimism. Rock and Roll, classic Rock in particular, must be DANGEROUS. Most of our Parents HATED our youth music. And that was Jake with us
Roger sent me here. Fantastic work

This was really well done. The music part was great but made even better by being able to watch, also. Really, really good.
It really is an honor! Love your voice. 👍👍👍
You guys rock! Thanks for what you do! Enjoy your Christmas holidays.
You have an amazing voice- what a fantastic production!
Holy crap this is the only cover that does the original justice.
Ditto
100% agree
That was tight. And the vocals kicked.
This old man says Bravo
Bravissimi 👏👏👏💯😊

@@legalavocado3447 thank you 🤘🏼
You crushed it man
@@keepitloud1thank you 🤘🏼🙏
Watched this 10x. The blonde girl really sends it with the vocals and all the following vocalists match. Then that surprise jazz ending, so good.
Bravo! 🎶 🎵

Fantastic! I love it.
So, so, so great! The musicianship is beautiful. When the vocals came in I got chills, and then again with each new vocalist.
I am better for having heard that; and that is what a cover should do, make you see something the original didn't show you.

Do you have a release for radio play?
I heard you guys on 97.3 The River and what they said Roger Daltrey said about you and Holy Crap they were right. You guys are awesome!
I approve of this performance..

Amani, beautiful voice. Never stop singing. From a diehard Who fan! ✌️

WOW that was Fantastic!! Roger sent me!!
Incredible gifts
This cranky old The Who fan LOVES it! My only gripe is that I just now found out about it.
As a long time Who fan and a Gen X'er just want to say you kids did a phenomenal job! Love it... I now have a little more hope for the future of music, knowing you young musicians are out there. Stay true to the music, and don't let the industry snap you up and destroy you.
Magic is being made here.
This is so good, it's almost too much to bear. Almost.
These kids are INCREDIBLY talented. And their rendition brings new excitement to the original absolute monster tune ! My only slight complaint is the drummer occasionally seems to be a quarter to a half beat behind at times. Otherwise a great version.
Whoooohooo.....so verdammt talented boys n girls

Hey, I play in a The Who tribute band. Where did you get the synth/arpeggiator sounds? Great job BTW!
I'm very impressed being an avid Who fan and Levi is my last name (Charles Levi) and I'm a Bass player myself. Keep driving your musical Dreams. Look me up fellow Bass player look up Jaco Pastorius, John Entwistle and others
At least it's not rap. Well done, young people.
Roge sent me.....
Roger Daltrey never used auto-tune on his vocals, these kids are very processed....
Found the one curmudgeon in the comments.
One girl tryin to bring her first soprano vocals in too much. But otherwise, great job!
