Listen to me, go to Mexico and buy one yourself, then go and buy some electric breaker, electric drills, any electric heavy tools you can think of, put them in the truck, drive to the border wall, use V2G power these tools, dig a hole, drill through, then you've got a BYD that drives in the US
This truck would be perfect here in the US!
Small affordable electric urban vehicles are needed here too!
We need BYD cars in the USA. My understanding is there could be basic city electric models that would sell as low as $3,000 to $8,000 dollars,,, I live in an urban center in the Mid-West, we need these,,, and my understanding they are working on sodium batteries(lithium being harder to source and may be hard on the environment and politically causes conflict)
I vote for no tariffs on Chinese e-cars imports, but we(USA), as a nation should do some quantitative easing(producing extra money) to get more development funds to companies like Tesla and other American electric vehicle providers, so we all can have affordable e-cars, e-onewheels, e-bikes/motorcycles, e-trucke and e-mass transit!
Bring BYD into the US tariff free(help them pass our safety standards rules), but also pour money into our own(US made) clean vehicle industry too, so we can be world class too!! More clean mass transit as well!

@@onetwothreefour-s1n Not around here they don't. I was chatting to a business owner the other day about his fleet of EV trucks and he was saying hybrid trucks would cost his business so much more because of the extra maintenance to keep them running. His EV trucks are virtually maintenance free.
