- Hey everyone! As promised, here's the much requested car review of the Hongqi EHS9. I've put together my personal thoughts and honest feedback on this amazing and super beautiful vehicle that I practically use every day :)
- บันเทิง
Hongqi is the official car that Chinese President Xi Jinping sits in every time when he arrives visiting a foreign country. This brand was founded in 1950’s - The first Hongqi car was born in 1958, which was also the first car produced independently in China. It’s one of the most reliable domestic automotive brands in China, it was just not that well known internationally.
This car is awesome! It is also available in Norway. However there it is way cheaper. Philippines should cut taxes on electric cars.
In China, driving a Hongqi electric car represents the pinnacle of luxury and innovation. The driver feels an extraordinary sense of modernity, surrounded by cutting-edge technology and automation. This experience is not just unique but also a glimpse into the future of transportation. As we witness such advancements, it becomes clear that electric vehicles like this are setting the trend for sustainable and sophisticated automotive development worldwide. This marks a significant step towards a more efficient and environmentally friendly future.
in the past most of the Chinese considered Mercedes Benz and BMW as luxury but now this is the first time they proud to own their home grown brand as luxury car
it's a shame we don't have nice Chinese EV cars for sale in America.
They said it's to "protect your data privacy".
@@wkl6432 Its to protect US car companies, because they suck at competing.
More like to protect US car companies, cause they can't compete.
还说产能过剩有倾销的嫌疑 笑死人了
@@mowangx57nice support from China 😂😂😂
Well I didn't know hongqi made it to the Philippines, that's for sure a great luxuries car, very good taste
no,its piece of crap.
@@user-cx23b1vmc6 and wat makes it a piece of crap?
Having this machine on the road will undoubtedly garner significant attention due to its incredibly sleek design. People will definitely do a double-take and wonder, What on earth is that?
They wanted to make it look like a rolls Royce. BTW there have been issues with this brand in China
@@harunrachman3143 which car company has no issues?
@@harunrachman3143 what issues? say it, otherwise you are making nonsense.
@@harunrachman3143 All car brands have issues. You haven't seen all of the recalls with brands in America?
From my point of view this car makes you an issues. You're jealous, unaffordable etc.
So envious that the HS9 is available in your market. In time more folks will get over their prejudices
I'm driving a BYD Atto3 (Or Yuan Plus in China or some other places). At first many people here also charge it when it reach +/-30% which is not necessary. Now that I charge the car whenever I'm back home or in the warehouse/office. It is find and I have a "full tank" everytime I leave with the car. It is better to charge it will slow charger, don't always charge with ultra fast DC charger
BYD uses only LFP type lithium battery, which is a bit heavier but very durable. You can pretty much charge it whenever you want, and up to 100% each time. But other EVs such as this Hongqi uses higher performance ternary lithium batteries, which they recommend that you take down to 20-30%, then slow charge up to 80% in normal use, in order to maximize battery life.
@@tren133 common misunderstanding of battery life cycle is that how many times you recharge it. If you use 10% then charge to full for 5 times doesn't mean you had used 9 life cycles therefore better to used until 90% then charge it.
The key situation that will damage the battery are diacharging it until low SoC eg 30% or40% and below, the battery already have some additional damage when it reached low charged.
2ndly is heat, when someone always charge with fast charging, extreme heat is created and it will damage the battery.
Conclusion is that if you always prefer to use the EV until low charge 40% and lower and then charge with fast charger, your battery capability will decrease much faster than someone charge the battery to full with slow charger whenever they can (but don't over charge it)
I like how spacious and premium the interior looks
BYD just dropped a bomb on everybody! Their DM 5 gen hybrid model range is 2000km on a single charge & a full tank of fuel! The consumption is like a mini car & only for the price of $13000!!! It is CRAZY!
The Design is very executive class
it''s definitely a beautiful car and elegant car
way better than rover, bmw or benz, lexus....
In what way? The brand ppl never heard of?
@@Sean-yv4ekDid you know that BYD has unveiled new technology? A hybrid system that provides a 65-liter fuel tank and an additional 120 kilometers of purely electric drive for 2,500 kilometers without refueling and recharging, for a price of only $15,000!
@@Sean-yv4ek I understand, because some people don't want you to hear it. You should know who I'm referring to.
To know what people trust look at selling numbers every year
no,its a piece of crap.
Such a cool car. Hope they give good aftersales and parts availability. Love your video. Keep it up.
So proud of the wifey for this care review. I feel like I’m watching carwow, Doug demouro, suprcar blondie or remove before race haha. Good job baba! Now can you please let me borrow this car once In awhile. I don’t get to drive it coz it’s always with you!
Driving this car makes you unique and envy of both gents and ladies.
Wow the interior is huge and luxurious 😮
Very beautiful car!! 😍
Nakakatawa lang yung mga pambabash mga tao dito sa comment section dahil lang "Chinese" car yan. You can clearly see how westernized yung pag iisip nila. They don't even know what kind of brand Hongqi is, nor do they realize how advanced the technology and quality of materials were in that car. 2024 na pero yung pag iisip nila pang 2000's pa 😂
Bumili ka para mpatunayan mong hanggang porma lang yan. Mga tsekwa nga ayaw bumili.
冷战思维,至少1990以前
Just need to know this. Every Chinese President standard car since PRC found in 1949 is a Hongqi.
Must be super rich to be driving a hongqi. It looks luxurious.
Love!!!!! I did think this was a rolls from the first look!
This is a Luxury car for sure !
This is a gorgeous car too bad my government will never allow me to buy one .

Brilliant video!! Really enjoyed everything about it :) If possible in the future, could you do a video revving up your car? So we can hear how it sounds!!
... rev a fully electric vehicle? 🤦🏽♂️
block out temp plates but cv sticker is shown😅
In fact, there are many countries in Asia that are very suitable for using electric vehicles, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and other countries. The climate in these countries is very suitable for driving electric vehicles because you don't need to worry about extreme cold weather causing a decrease in range. As long as there are enough charging stations, you can easily use electric vehicles.
This can reduce a significant amount of exhaust emissions, while allowing more people to enjoy high horsepower and low travel costs. In addition to providing more luxurious interiors than traditional car manufacturers, it also has huge horsepower and acceleration, while saving a lot of usage and travel costs.
If you are worried about inconvenient charging, you can also consider hybrid cars, such as the recently released BYD Seal 06 and Qin L. With a 65 liter fuel tank and an 80KM or 120KM battery, it can easily achieve a range of 2100-2500KM, which is the same as the travel cost of electric vehicles, but has several times the range!!!
I hope all ASEAN countries can quickly promote electric vehicles and charging stations, and forget about outdated traditional brands!
Amazing!!
president of China has a Hongqi N701
marvelous
Really cool 😎
are you in Mexico? where did you buy this car?

Yes any electric car no coding
Wait, this is the brand equivalent to Caddi in US/actually more like Rolls equivalent for some trims. Where do you live & how in the world di you get it. Must be loaded. Not only for the government, the armored version is only for the government. Ordinary folks can get it it's just something like $1m for some models. Jade inlay & all nuts. This googled. 7 seater $110K! in China so depending on where in live. If in US, it's $220K!
will get one b4 i die...

Don’t be scared. You bought the auto reverse feature. Use it

Ang ganda... ng presenter😅
if it is made for chinese officials, how did you have it? i want to have one too. tnx
private import company. just find a luxury import showroom car in your city. for sure it is for the rich... i believed it cost 100k usd in china well if dont have the deep pocket just skip it. lol
Hongqi Motors used to be exclusively for government departments, but in recent years it has begun to produce civilian vehicles, especially electric vehicles, mainly for the civilian market.
You can google "Hongqi L5", which is the million dollar limousine for high ranking Chinese officials, and only available for private sale in limited cases. But Hongqi also sells hundreds of thousands of regular cars every year, in the luxury car segment. The E-HS9 is one of their largest and most expensive models. It is exported to various markets, such as Norway, but also apparently to the Philippines as well.
Might be It can drive automatically for you too?
U r in which county?
Philippines
super nice
Say hi from Xiamen, China. So happy to see you are happy with this car, enjoy your car life!
i need them in the usa

You can't say the wrong thing in the car "Hey hongpi, turn on the airbags."
Do you have any need for the services of a video editor and Motion graphics designer?
why not lower the steering wheel. much more comfortable
This car is for leader
This is the Rolls Royce of China. Very bold of u to get it.
About this car
The materials are the best
Amazing
Is this sponsored Andi? Because it’s just unlikely GP would opt for a Chinese car haha
Tbh it looks good but parang dyahe lang when people tell you “wow your car looks nice” then ask what it is then you say “Hongqi” lol but that’s just me
Haha he was the one that made the final decision for the car :) we looked at others and this was really the nicest we found that suited our fam. It’s a famous car brand in China and the first and oldest one so it has backing. We are happy with the car 🤍
Dyahe that it’s from china. Isn’t the phone you’re using from china? So judgemental naman lol. I actually did choose this car. Check the vlog on the day we paid for it. Best bang for buck
Just noticed. Andi didn’t answer the question. If so proud with it, why deny the sponsorship?
@@kyleskulit91haha, they don't even bother answering idiotic assumption-of-guilt question. So I buy my own private car, do a vlog on it, then it has to be sponsored?

US government obviously dont like hearing how the electric consumption of this EV is much more economical compared to those gasoline vehicles LOL 😅😅😅
Very nice car but it looked huge.
