@@DirectorOfTime that site is Earthquake prone. While such disaster is not impossible even in India as 2004 tsunami reached India and sank Indira Point. Howecer we just need to take that into account while developing this technology

It's perfect time to explore Russian technology. Not only we should show interest in this floating nuclear plant but also we should look towards other Russian technology like:
1) 9M730 Burevestnik ( Nuclear powered Missile )
3) Jet Engine
4) 5th Gen Fighters etc

India is tropical country and here tropical cyclone occur but russia fall in temperate region which make them immune from tropical cyclone.

It's not buying. It's technology collaboration with equal interest and opportunities. Russia financially depends on China but Russias traditional thoughts China never trusted partner . It consider China similar to USA by nature. Like USA China also highly ambitious in self interest. So Russia eyeing India as best potential and much reliable partner . This should help Russia in balance China and protect its larger geopolitical interest's.
For a Country like India which have a large coastline and many coastal States this technology is very much beneficial for Energy purposes and Development. We should get this technology from our Brother nation Russia 🇷🇺🤝🇮🇳

As per my knowledge Floating Nuclear Plant Technology not much more imp but we need Small modular reactors (SMRs) Technology first.
Only USA has SMR technology which is commercial viable and they are not ready to give

Talking about the safety, what if there's a tsunami/cyclone. Why not built it like a Naval Ship with the power plant inside it powering the ship as well as producing energy for useful work & and can be easily driven without any dependencies.
