It is not easy to take part in World War 3, because at present India is progressing both economically as well as in other fields. Therefore best way is to leave the W.W.-3 and chase all round development of Bharat/India.
India certainly doesn't want to be aggressive or take the initiative in WWIII. But if the situation demands, we need to defend our nation. For that urgent preparation is needed. The situation today is very serious. The hype over temple building etc is just to keep the mass happy & distracted so there's no tension over war issues, I think.
Government should make it a rule for every indians to do 3 years of military training, so that we can fight for the nation in odd situation

As an rising power our country must have the some extra military budget to make our army ready for land fight, airforce to fully operate simultaneously with army and navy, and navy must have required aircraft carrier, submarines and marine fighter jets for aircraft use as well as army use. So, our govt should focus on this issue and increase budget to make our military ready for actions.

On an Immediate basis the Indian government should increase spending on military hardware manufacturing & R&D. Our private sector is capable of fulfilling military demand. Our defence budget should be around 100 + billion dollars atleast
