- This video was made because as a fan for years and years people need to understand there has only ever been one UB40 and they go strong as an amazing band. Ali Campbell left and is trying to use the name to sell tickets because he couldn't sell Ali Campbell! he has contradicted himself so many times and told stories which just obviously aren't true.
I have never seen UB40 respond to Ali's stories and alligations despite all the negative and wild press he storms against the band and it doesn't seem right to me! This chronicles the break up as it was. It's very clear Ali left the band to go solo and this nonsense about two UB40's is absolutely absurd.
At the end of the day it's the true fans that lose out.
Meaning of "Cry Wolf"
To raise a false alarm, to ask for assistance when you don't need it, and by extension, to exaggerate or lie. Everything else aside Ali lied quite blatantly when he said 'there's the other half of the band who live in Birmingham and don't do much', they are doing back to back tours!!
See you left the group! You can't keep calling yourself UB40! There is only one real UB40, thats Robin and the guys and that's the ones you left!
Is being deluded a requirement of Ali, or a coincidence i wonder, "you dont need to watch the video" or are you choosing not to Aaron...scared to listen to the Truth
+Aaron White Aaron,you're wasted commenting on TH-cam,you really should be in comedy lol.The word documentary implies factual programming.The video above demonstrates how estranged Ali is from the truth.He was happy enough to distance himself from UB40 when he thought his solo career might go somewhere but within months it was obvious that was not going to be the case.That's when the lies started.I can understand why you don't want to watch it.It disproves everything you and your ilk have been daft enough to believe for the last 8 years.Perhaps Ali could release a book version of the documentary as well.His timing's a bit off though,the Booker Prize for Fiction has already been awarded for this year

+Aaron White It transpires that the documentary you refer to will also feature UB40 Aaron so the truth will also feature.Oh no !!!! I hear you cry.Who knows,this very video may even feature in it.I advise Ali to study all the lies he's told in TV and print interviews so he's not wrongfooted.I don't envy him,it's a mammoth task

A typical comment from a typical Ali fan. All about me, myself and I. Remember, there's no "i" in team. UB40 have always been known for being a team, with different contributions from different band members (singing, composing, performing, writing etc). Any reasonable individual would simply watch this video and say "well, that confirms that Ali is a lier, and UB40 really don't need him". Others will simply come here and argue that black is white.... Watch the comments unfold.....but please note: Ali left UB40 nearly 10 years ago, he went solo, he failed, he slagged of his brothers in the press, then attempted to fool the public in the believing that he is UB40 - with false advertising and simple lies. All the while UB40 have worked there socks off and to this day deliver outstanding performances to packed out crowds, globally.
