    Are there any times you would prefer classic tweens? I came from after effects so motion tweens make sense to me, can I use them all the time, or does it have limitations and maybe there’s reasons I would use each? Or is classic just simpler and that’s the only benefit?

    • @TipTut

      Classic tween is perfect for quick and dirty transitions, if you need control, go for motion tweens!

    • @blue-1079
      @blue-1079 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like they said, it's useful for transitions, where the movement can be smooth with some easing, and lots of movement isn't required.

    But thats not classic. The software is creating frames and then following along with your changes. Classic is drawing each frame induvidually. I am looking for a term that is animation with "keyframes" like any transform in editing softwares. Too bad In animation those are the key frames where main stuff happens. So when i google keyframing animation, i get the classic animation style answers when i am really looking for setting jp key frames and then automating the transformations.

    I have seen a TON of these tweening videos, but all of these videos are working with some super simple stick figures or elementary shapes.
    Suppose I have an image of a man in a bad mood in frame 1. In Frame 2 he is happy. Now I want frames inserted that tweened so you see the entire motion of the mood changing.

Would you have any tips for reducing the files size while building the ad? It seems that the Animate ads are smooth but the file sizes huge in comparison to the frame by frame pshop ones. The elements are all small but, like I said, I'm new and can't figure out why the file sizes are so big on export (I need to keep hem under 1mb max - they are typically 90 frames or so on avg. don't forget, for classic tween you can animate along a curve (extremely complex curves) by attaching it as a child to a guide layer, even after you laid out all those key frames. I think your demo is overly simplified, if you would have used a motion guide layer you could have done the same thing much faster and with more control using the classic tween hahahaha
