I’m a total beginner but I found this tutorial far less daunting than intro tutorials. I guess it’s more encouraging to see what you can do with a good halfway finished project than always trying to work from scratch.
Ok. Love u my guy. I learned more within 3 minutes than the hour and a half lecture I get every one day of the week for college. That's a yikes for them.
thank you for the tutorial!! this is much more helpfull then longer videos. also im trying to make the shapes of my animation chang, do you know ho to do that?? ive been trying to but i cant seem to get anywhere...
Question: I am interested in making 2d animation video but before I start my subscription with Adobe I have a question: Can Adobe animate software create mesh automatically on to any image so that I can create 2d animation using images? Are there already images available which we can use?
please tell me..i am trying to move my character face with body both are symbols. together and face is separate symbol too inside together symbol. but when i try to rotate face when main symbol i.e body and face are moving face follows new anchor point of rotation and resets its position. its no rotating its following new rotation anchor . any chance you give me some tutorial on skype?
That’s the best and clearest explanation I’ve seen anywhere. I’m trying to animate a series of eight Photoshop images of someone winking. Is the easiest way to run each image for, say, three frames, with no tweeting involved? Or am I missing something? Thank you.
I cannot seem to get any of my symbols to obey my keyframes. When I start an object in a certain position at the beginning, no matter where I move it to at a later keyframe, it stays attached to it's child symbol in the exact same spot on the child symbol. Shouldn't it start off where I put it at the beginning and slowly move to the new spot I chose? It's like it's fused to the child symbol and refuses to let go. They both move together, but I want the child symbol to move slightly differently than the parent. It just won't.
I'm having issues with motion tweens and vector graphics. I'm running at 24 fps and every transition made with a Motion Tween will drop the FPS. Classic tween works fine
In minute 3:34 the pieces jump suddenly from frame 24 to 25, this is happening before the animations inside the symbols are made. This is a bug that happens alot with this feature, you should fix this, even in this tutorial is happening without offering a solution.
It's buggy, I tried it and it failed many times. Timelines of symbols didn't match with the scene. Tweens don't refresh when adding frames. using properties box can causes other settings to double, which cannot be undone, the list goes on. Shame :(.
Can you show how you did the mouth movement/transition in the pig animations? I like the transition of the "o" mouth shape to an open mouth smile. Is there a video about expressions (other than lip-syncing)? Thank you so much!
@@MadCartoonscom Thank you. I'll still do that video though. I don't have control over uploads here so hoping it can be sent through quickly to get uploaded this week.
Can i use this on normal picture? Because i have zero talents in drawing but i want to move object using pictures or already drawn animations. You know like they did on Ricardo milos meme. It took me some times to find out what motion is it.
The arms and legs are symbols. Inside these symbols is the original arm and leg artwork. I animated each leg and arm to move back and forth using a few frames. On the parent timeline these symbols containing these short animations are set to "Loop". So they will loop for as long as there are frames on the parent timeline.
@@keyframer. Thanks a lot for answering. I did not understand how the "loop" in legs and arms graphics started to move just after 25 frame in timeline. Aren't arms and legs graphic symbols from 1 to 24 frame?
@@GeraldoAraujo09 I see now. You can control the behavior of a Graphic symbol by inserting a keyframe, clicking on the instance of the symbol and then in the Properties Panel in the Lopping section set the behavior to Single Frame, Play Once or Loop and type in the frame number you want to start on that frame. So for this animation the symbol was set to Single Frame up until frame 25 where there's another keyframe and the instance is then told to Loop.
@@GeraldoAraujo09 Cool! This is one of the great features of AnCC - nested animations and then controlling them with keyframes and the Properties Panel. I still plan on doing a video tutorial as soon as I have time.
adobe animate why does my character only moves when i click control and test but not on my timeline my character only moves forward but when I go to control and test he moves forward and his arms moves and legs and also the cloud but not on my timeline what am I doing wrong help me out
you have to make it a "graphic" when making the symbol, should be in the properties, for some reason they added a pointless "movieclip" option that does nothing but cause frustration.
This glitch happens when i rotate. The object will move instead of rotating and in one frame rotate to the correct position. I converted to symbol and did the tween steps.
Just doesn't work for me at all. Have two keyframes with the second modified using the Asset Warp Tool. Create a Classic tween between the frames and nothing happens. Only changes when it hits that second key frame
same thing is happening to me. I check and recheck all the sequence of steps. i'm finding on other forums that this is a bug in Adobe Animate they haven't fixed yet. People are pretty peeved they released something that wasn't quite ready for practical rollout. Still searching to see if they fixed it or if there's a real way to use parenting cuz it's such a cool feature.
OHHHHHH i think i figured it out. The whole thing has to be turned into a movie clip symbol. Double click into that symbol and THEN you can isolate out each element to it's own layers and assign parent and child layers. then adding keyframes and tweens doesn't break the animation. UGHHH. even the tutorial they have IN Animate to teach you that doesn't go through that step. I just remembered it from the recesses of when I worked with flash animation freakin 20 years ago. You have to nest the animation in a movie clip container for the feature to behave properly. Anyhoo, the parenting and tweening works perfectly now.
In five minutes and in English I understood more than 24 minutes of other tutorials, congratulations adobe for such a good video

Why does the center point reset everytime I add classic tween to keyframes?
