As vehicles gain more miles, however, the power steering system ages and can’t do its job alone. You know the telltale signs: The creaking sound when you try to turn (aka morning sickness), the puddle that forms underneath your car in the driveway. Don’t get caught up with time-consuming and expensive trips to the mechanic to get it fixed. This is when Bar’s Leaks Power Steering Repair comes into play. We offer fast, easy, effective and inexpensive power steering leak repair that gets you back on the road safely. How do we repair a power steering fluid leak? Internally, pumps whine, gears have play in them, valves stick, seals leak and the fluid quickly breaks down. Our team of chemical engineers has developed a power steering fluid leak repair product that reconditions the systems and stops the fluid from seeping out. Once installed, Bar’s Leaks Power Steering Repair helps to stop and prevent these problems and enhances the useful life of your power steering system, and in turn extends the life of your car. If you lost a whole bottle in an hour than you have a rusted line or something, the leak stop would work best with dry rack seals or something, it's not going to stop high pressure lines from bleeding if they are rusted out.

The back of the bottle says it won't start working for at least a hundred miles or 3 days, I'm wondering if you waited that long?

Im going to try it but good to know about the differences in viscosity. I will prepare and use two different container and mix well.

You have to pour slowly not dumping bottle upside down. You have to wait for the thick fluid to pour out before tilting bottle again.

These stop leaks are for small leaks and bad seals, if all your fluid is gone within 24 hours then nothing will help because you have something broken in your power steering system. I used the same thing but my system would take three weeks until it got low and not completely empty then I used the bars leak and a month later did not lose a drop of fluid

it shows on the bottle how to pour it ...tilt the bottle so that the orange fluid pours first and the yellow follows.

Dude, you said yourself that you DIDN'T put equal amounts of the 2 liquids in your reservoir. I get that the liquids are different viscosities, and that's good to know, but when you noticed that there weren't equal amounts poured, FIX THAT. You could have just covered the half of the bottle with the thinner liquid with tape or something and corrected the balance of the amounts in your reservoir. Not fair to say it didn't/doesn't work when you didn't follow the directions.

I Couldn't have covered it. Besides it was a cold day out and it thickened up the liquid. It wasn't coming out. Prob only in drips. They pro. Should have made a bottle with 2 sprouts. Would have solved the issue.

Obviously you have a mechanical problem like a thoroughly bad seal.

well you used it wrong, if it had 2 separate foil you should open 1 poured in the 1st liquid, then you should open the 2nd foil and poured it at the same level.
