- Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran joined Mario Lopez and wife Courtney on Access Daily to talk about their new album "Future Past" and talk about the closeness of his family. After explaining how he lives in a compound with all of his children and grandchildren, the singer went on to say his middle daughter Saffron was featured on his new album, most notably on the song "Beautiful Lies." I was 13 when Duran Duran came to MTV and I decided very quickly that I was supposed to marry Simon. I was crushed when I heard he married his gf. It's all good. I think we both made the right decision. Lol Simon still looks and sounds amazing. Duran Duran deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame 100%. They are still crushing it over 30 years later. 💞

Simon Lebon is AMAZING!! I've been a fan since 13 and still am... he's still beautiful and so down to earth .. Duran Duran should have been in the Hall of Fame from the beginning..They are one of the best bands ever. Of course equal to U2.

I met Simon and Nick in 2000 or 2001 in Boston, after a show. We drank wine and ate French fries and it was literally my dream come true. Sorry it couldn’t have been the whole band. Or at least John, Simon, and Nick! But they were so kind, smart, and funny!

I love Duran Duran. I’ve been a fan for almost 40 years! I didn’t get to see them in the 80’s but saw them at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN in 2005; they were awesome. The reviewer (can’t remember if it was The Star Tribune or St. Paul Pioneer Press) said something about Nick being stiff and I thought; Nick’s always that way. He is a terrific keyboardist, the reviewer obviously didn’t do his research. I wish I could go see them on this tour but I looked up the ticket prices for the closest place to me and they are way out of my reach, darn inflation. I’ll keep voting for them to get into the Hall of Fame though. DD forever!!

I was a big fan of Duran Duran being teen in the eighties, and I find astonishing the sound they achieved on their brand new album. By that I mean resemblence of their first four LP editions that was incorporated within modern sound production of latest songs that form a certain arch between the past and incoming future. Reminding all the connosseurs of ''Friends Of Mine'', some tunes from ''Notorius'', ''Big Thing'' or ''Liberty'' albums that can be heard in few bars of new hits from the new album. Congrats, guys!

I want to make something absolutely clear. Listen to Simon. He loves surrounding himself with family and especially young people. I've noticed that youth bring exceptional energy and positivity. While I don't own a house of exceptional size, I would and am really lucky to, know and work with wonderfully bright, cheerful and, goddamn it, bouncy people of today. I'm just a grumpy old man surrounded by youthful people. And I love it.

The year 2021 was a fantastic year having two of the biggest band (Duran Duran & ABBA) bringing out albums out in Oct and Nov and it really made the year very very special.
