II was told that there are limits based on environmental considerations (not sure what that means honestly) and so many of the interior canals were mainly dug for drainage. Do you know why the inner canals don't have gulf access? It would seem like a no brainer to me to provide connections...

where is the VA Hospital
There is no VA Hospital however there is a clinic that is in the far North East off Diplomat Parkway East.
