"Fix" Your Laggy Pokémon Scarlet / Violet - Quick Fixes

- These two easy "fixes" made my Pokémon Violet run a bit better. Here's hoping they patch the game soon for an official fix Crosses fingers .... Let me know in the comments if it helped you.

Go ahead and sync your TH-cam account with your Discord account, by going into User Settings - Connections - TH-cam.
Discord will automatically sync with your TH-cam account, and you'll find all the streamers you joined right in the Connections tab! You can hit the "Join Server" button and you'll get your special membership role, just like that.
Good video, first thought before even looking up a fix was the system memory switch. So glad to see someone else thought the same thing. 👍
Also, if you are connected to the internet, there is significant lag - going at full speed you can see the slowdown as the area loads. In the past they had an issue where it would go out of sync when doing that and you had to restart the game, it feels like that has been fixed and going offline does speed up the game without a restart, but the online lag is still there.

You can request a refund from Nintendo for this game if you need it. The game is so bad that Nintendo is actually handing out refunds for the digital editions of the game. Although i am not into pokemon games but having seen numerous clips of it running on the switch i find it absolutely horrendous how it looks and how it performs. If you still have fun with it, go for it but i would really consider getting a refund and coming back to the game when it is fixed, if that ever happens. Gamefreak is known to not do good support for its games. Have a nice day aswell.
So, I'll say this, I've played at least 100+ hours with very minimal bugs - mostly I just get some low frame rates at times. I've had more than my money's worth of fun, so I'd not want a refund. With most reviews you'll find that the people that had issues are the loudest in voicing their opinions. I do know though for the refunds it is people using their one free lifetime return with the Nintendo eshop, as I spoke with Nintendo support and they are making no special exceptions for this game.

@@BarbsCozyCorner personally, I gotta say that we as the fans are kinda responsible for them releasing jank of we continue to buy and play and refuse to refund. I'm guilty to it's fun as hell but I really can't complain about the issues if I refuse to take a stand and do a refund.

@@noahlankford1 fair, but if it was bad enough, I would ask for a refund. I couldn’t rightly ask for a refund on a game I now played over 200 hours on.
This is really helpful, thank you. Before when I want to login also lag, but now look faster. I was looking for this when I exit chansey supply, the character just freeze but I saw npc at background can move. I didn't notice before I bought that memory card, it was smooth but after I move it in there, it lagging right now as I stop playing before too long to notice this
It works! I can finally enjoy Noroteo without constant lag!! 😃💖
5 months later still feel lag
It’s crazy. I don’t know if it’s because either I waited until November 2023, I played in handheld mode almost exclusively, or if it’s because my digital version was installed on an SD card, but I’ve never had lag problems so severe pre Indigo Disk. I’ve definitely had dips of varying intensity, especially when sandstorms come into play where it reduces the frame rate to 10-20 when traveling, but I never got as bad as, say, double battles in Ultra Sun or Moon where it went into single digits almost exclusively with how bad the lag got there.

my move data between system is grayed out. I cant select that
It may be 4 months late, but it's better than nothing. Make sure you have enough room to move it over because if not it will be greyed out.

Love the game, but I can't enjoy it as much as I should because of the frame rate. Also, it's nothing they can't fix, look at the zelda games, way more quality and pretty much NO frame rate drop.
