Many people treat Little Mac like a joke whenever they come across one, because it's always as "easy" as "throw them offstage" to take an entire stock. He kept spamming the cape, & tried to just back air him, & he should've just waited for him to get back onstage. But he wanted to hit the Little Mac trying to recover.

Mac's air speed is higher than most characters which is why little mac's recovery isn't too bad. He still has one of the worst up specials in the game (recovery wise) since it sends him no where and he loses momentum.
The horizontal jump speed! Also; that Doctor Mario could've stayed on the Blue Falcon to continue the fight, but he got too KO thirsty for his own good and got punished for it.
If he only had better air speed, average arieals and his recovery buffed just a little bit (less startup and endlag on side-b) plus a bit more distance on his side b, his jumps and his up b. He would bee really good. No he would not only be good, he could be top tier than :D
