    Thank you I will try those settings the next dive! How does those settings work for spearfishing on 10-20 m?

    It would have been good to hear more in depth what all these settings are for/do for the complete beginner.

    You know, I never had the knack in photography. Tried but for some reason got bored. I have my daughter take the photos (not under water) and I manipulate the photos creating patterns. I'm still learning but I'm better on the computer than the camera. I had a gopro (earlier generation) stuck it under my paddle board. There were pods floating in the water. When I reviewed it on my computer, it look like the pods where headed straight for you then it whooshes by. Kinda like when you ride the Star Wars ride in Disneyland. Beautiful shots as usual.

    Hey Scott, how can I avoid my GoPro 11 to be fogging when I use it? I would appreciate your help, thanks a lot!!!

    • @scottbauerbelow
      @scottbauerbelow  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use those little anti fog inserts that you buy off of Amazon….another thing that helps is to never take it underwater without putting it into the underwater housing….if you do, water gets into the microphone ports and then will cause your housing to fog as the camera heats when in use….unless you dry it out for a really long time, that’s why I always put it into the housing

    Great video, thanks!
    Just one question, I need a GoPro to take footages underwater and I have read that the GoPro 11 lacks the narrow shooting angle, I'm not an expert at all, but isn't that a necessary feature to keep the fish from looking too far? Or you can change some settings to adjust that ?

    • @scottbauerbelow
      @scottbauerbelow  ปีที่แล้ว

      That makes perfect sense, instead of shooting in narrow you can shoot in “linear” with horizon leveling….that will not only give just as narrow of a view bit it will be really smooth with out any shake

    Too bad that was very shallow underwater shots, it would have been great to see how the settings do in deeper water!

      I just got back from a trip where I did just that so maybe I can follow up on this video with some deeper water footage

    why not 4k 60 in 8:7?

    • @scottbauerbelow
      @scottbauerbelow  ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn’t run smoothly on my PC, it’s a lot of data

    • @timgosling6189

      I actually do all my video in 4k/60, 8:7. I then zoom it on my editing software to the standard 16:9 but the extra height in the original allows me then to pan up or down to pick get the action centred if the camera wasn't quite pointed where I wanted.
