You really put a lot of time with your shark. Out of all the people that have this bike I think you have the best looking one. You got all the right parts for it.
Agreed. Luckily I got it all worked out now. BTW, I dig your videos bro. My sons and I have built a few bad ass T-Maxx's. Mine has been completely rebuilt from scratch with every mod and upgrade known to man. It's so good (i.e. expensive!) that I can't bring myself to actually drive it! :)
That's how I had it on my 2014 S1000RR. Problem is\was that any connection direct to battery is always on (unless you rig some sort of toggle switch). I just wanted the Navigator to power on\off with the ignition so I could install it and forget it... especially since BMW was nice enough to provide a connector specifically for it. ;)
hey man, i have the cowl and mine does not wiggle like that. it's SOLID. i have the gap, which everyone has and there is nothing you can do about it, but the wiggling is not right.. btw like the blue on the cowl.
Awesome video as always as far as the Seat cowl color looks perfect as far as fit did you buy the kit to install the cowl if you did not use such kit that's why your cowl ain't fitting perfect & is so loose . I have a 2017 S1000RR as well and my seat cowl fit is on the money no gaps at all .Thanks for all the hints you mentioned in every one of your videos keep up that fantastic job you are doing
Awesome bike man. I'm surprised you went with the black chain adjuster. I would have gone with the blue to match the bike. And yeah. I hate when people rev the shit out of their bike on YT.
Good point, and certainly something that I considered, but it boils down to the fact that my bike is garage kept, I don't commute on it, and it only gets used for pure enjoyment, i.e., canyon rides or track days. I'm not saying something couldn't still happen, like when I'm inside a restaurant or at a group meet-up something, but I'll take my chances since the upside is so high (@ every 100 mile fill-up!) ;)
They simply hold on the cover on, not really critical fasteners so the tiny bit of stretching, if any, is not a big deal, especially if you use Loctite (blue)... Maybe new hardware did come in the kit, but I didn't use them if so. :) Getting the gasket sealer spread correctly is far more of a concern than any stretching from aluminum bolts! ;)
Hey mate like what you have done with your bike, what bar ends are those? I haven't really noticed enough vibration to warrant bar ends, what do you think?
The bar ends are a two-piece design from Lightech. I'm not really a fan of them either... they are way too light, so I'll be going back to stock soon. ;)
SC-P on it 🔥🔥🔥
I really like the blue cowl...it's a keeper! I am a female rider of 2 years and just got the 2017 S1000R and I love it!
Awesome bike. Love it.
My old 2010 had the smoked glass integrated led kit. Was nice.
(the tail light)
yeahhhh!! Awesome bro! Enjoyed this vid
nice looking seat! I gotta get those radiator and oil cooler guards.
hey man your bike looks sick i like it

In two years time i want this exact spec. The seat, the colour... everything on this bike..... its perfect!
My 636 windscreen I plasti dipped on inside and the pure black just nothing like it. I don't use it to see out of anyway like some.
That's pretty sad about the cowl fitment and paint on the rest of the bike. I figured the krauts would have better QC.

Tim Goodrich
Ha, thanks man! Keep up the great motorbiking vlogs.
7:41 maybe a seperate power supply to the gps that usb charges on the bike?

motodynamic has some nice looking ones, sequential taillights and a stop alert function which the taillight blinks automatically 3 blinks at a time.
Twobrothers is the best slip on for this bike I have it on my 2017

Perfect timing for this comment... I'll be uploading a video today or tomorrow showing what happened to that POS cowl... and it's not good!
Love it man.

Love the bike bro. I'm slightly jealous haha.
Im sceptical to that quik realase tank lock... Im just thinking what if a hater comes buy and he just pours some shit or puts something in it.... :/

Amazing video.. thinking of buying the woodcraft crankshaft cover.. did it come with the bolts or do I have to order from dealership?
Re-use OEM bolts...
Tim Goodrich being that they are aluminum, I heard they stretch and need to be replaced.. just watched Marcel Ernie video and his came with hardware 🤔

Do you want to sell that yoshi can? i would by it if you wanted to get rid of it... lmk thanks and good luck with the bike...looks tight!!! Thanks
Is the catalyst removed from the stock exhaust when you rev it?
Nope, stock cats are still there...
Where did you get that GPs for you s1000rr, i have a 2015?
It's a BMW Navigator V... mounted on a RAM mount from Telferizer (www.telferizer.com)
But the unit itself is a bmw part, great
thanks
