I'm pretty happy with the swingarm location. Just need a mount on the back now. I'm painting the rear seat cowl this week and it has a perfect spot for one. To me its the most important view-point because its shows how shitty my body positioning is. :P But that is how I learn!

I'm not too impressed with the video quality from the Session, but can't argue with the wind noise suppression! Awesome video.

I just bought S1RR 1wk ago and getting used to it and had my first proper drive today, wanted to see how other people are driving it, and your video is awesome! You look and sound like in total control. Not pushing it and not over aggressive in the corners, although the pace is right on. Great drive and nice driving.

Hey dude - first off, i just wanna say that even though you've only done a few videos, the quality of all the content is awesome, having no wind noise on a mounted mic is good stuff, i'm looking to get a 2016/7 S1K sometime early next year so i've subbed to see someone enjoying what seems to be an awesome bike. I'm not sure if this is just meant to be a casual GoPro testing ride, but i watched other riding vid (De Luz Rd i think?) and wanted to mention you might feel more confident round/coming out of corners if you work your gears some more, i know litre bikes are hardly short on power but i find a higher rev tends to stabilize the bike and can stop the habit of relying on a single gear. If it just a casual ride and i'm preaching to the choir then ignore me! :P Keep up the great content, and i look forward to possibly hearing the SC Project exhaust!

Thanks for the feedback bro, and the sub! Good luck on your S1K journey too... you certainly wont be disappointed! Regarding the ride -- all of my rides are casual... ;) I'm not a racer or a street squid. I've got a very hot wife and three cool kids to come home to... :) so my pace is 80% of MY abilities, and I'm totally cool with that! Not real sure what you mean by "working the gears more". In this video, I'm in 2nd gear most of the entire time, hence you hear me whining it out between corners. I don't shift needlessly into 3rd when I know another corner is coming up. I then use those higher revs for engine braking to setup the next turn. Its not a habit, as you say, its just the way I ride this mountain... I try to finish all of my braking before tipping in (rarely do I use trail braking)... so the way I stabilize the bike is with a smooth and steady throttle roll-on from turn entry to mid-corner, then it's apex and giving it the beans while standing it back up during exiting... I'm curious, have you ever watch Twist of The Wrist II? Or MotoVudu? If not, you should! :) Anyways, thanks again for the feedback. It's a good discussion! Cheers man!

Session should had been released at a lower price point and I think it would had been a lot more successful. Only major down side is that you can pop in a new battery and if a rock or something its that lens its a goner. I will admit though, no wind noise at the speed you are going is absolutely amazing.

I couldn't agree more! That was bullshit how they released the Session at the same price as a silver, and now you can get one for $199... And ya, not having an extra battery to throw in it really sucks. I started carrying a USB battery pack because of this. I do like the new "cage" though, even if it makes the lens more vulnerable. Thanks for the comment!
