    Thanks for the video!
    I like how at approx. 9:05 in this video you show hot the filter just "floats" there and it not mounted super tight with no movement at all. I was just changing my fluid & filter in my Turbo 400 and when reassembling it thought I had the Filter Mounting Bolt or I lost some washers because it did not fit tight against the Transmission. Thanks to this video I can put it back together now.

    Thanks for the video, it helped me install my oil pan on my 1990 454 SS truck with a TH400. 👍👍

    Do you happen to know the thread size and length of the torque converter cover bolts?

    • @DavidJWarEagle
      @DavidJWarEagle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I found this: www.chevelles.com/threads/torque-specs-on-converter-and-dust-cover-th400-bolt-sizes.201676/
      The original bolt I pulled looks the same as what’s shown in the post but the hex head is a little different and no washer. 0.5 inch long by .20 inch in diameter for the threaded portion.

    Any updates ...did it leak with the Moroso gasket?

    • @DavidJWarEagle
      @DavidJWarEagle  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s been leak free so far. I’m happy with it.

      @@DavidJWarEagle did apply any RTV with the Mososo seal or just the bare gasket to the pan?

    • @DavidJWarEagle
      @DavidJWarEagle  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      J B No RTV, just the gasket.

    Now add fluid and take for a drive

      Yep, I did and it has stayed bone dry ever since. This is a mod that is well worth doing, in my opinion.
