I knew about making kadabu using jackfruit leaves but this is the first time I saw it being made with turmeric and banana leaves. Since it is easier to get banana leaves where I live, I am very excited to try this out. Very nicely explained, with a lot of care and detail. Thank you very much. You inspire me to cook!
Namaste Mamthaji, super traditional recipe, thank you for sharing this. Nimma skill, patience, passion yella really really appreciated. Wishing you many accolades 👍👏👏👏
Wow! Thumba chennagithe . We are having two jack fruit trees in our (Kerala) land. But Till date I dint know these type of kadabu. Now I’m stuck in Chennai. Anyhow I will prepare after return to Kerala👍

My grandmother used to make a jackfruit kadabu spread on Peepal leaf (Ashvatana yele) it was a combination of rice, jackfruit and jaggery which she ground as a batter then cooked in a pot till it was a thick paste then steamed it on the leaves.childhood memories. unfortunately nobody learnt from her. If you know such kind of kadabu recipes please share. Also share Sasime recipes. Thanks
Mostly jackfruit leaves receipes r made by konkanis and it is called as 'hittu' in konkani.we used to prepare it for our functions thanks 4 showing it Akka
Turmeric leaves use turmeric batter, Jack fruit leaf use sweet jack fruit batter , Plantain leaf use sweet banana batter .It will be so much variety and delicious. Here the leaves changes but the idli batter remains the same. Why not think differently ?
Ma'am,if this is put to practice by all the ladies, then there is no need to wash idly plates, and also hygenic,as we wash leaves before cooking and also provides compost pit.Hence reduction of pollution.
Delicious and healthy idli, thank you for showing such a wonderful receipe

Don't know which part of US you are in. If you are in SF bay area you will get banana leaves in most of the indian stores.
