My bro and myself are looking to plan a fishing expedition down there ourselves within the next year or two, but I can feel the bugs biting me while just watching lol. They only attack me when everyone else is around!
Great job Ty. I always thought Jeremy was being a drama queen when he claimed he got hurt. Last year, I was on the Essequibo and caught one that was 91 x 47. During pictures, he hit me in the ribs very hard and I think maybe cracked a rib. It was bruised at the very least. I don't think I was with the same guys you're with. Th guides don't look the same. Camp Mgr is Kenny? My guide was Jerry. I'm going back in February. Well done. Did anyone hook (snag) a knife fish or Cutlas?
Man I feel for you, the ribs! Had to be painful! I really messed up on a big one this trip and got hit in the face. Saw stars and the fish pushed me back about 5 feet. Can’t ever be too careful. We didn’t have any knife fish caught, no! Would be super cool to see one get caught.
Honestly, I love your videos. However, that fish went through a lot more stress than we’re used to seeing. Dragging her behind the boat for a landing spot was brutal.
Ty..... PLEASE change the way you film. The go pro isn't a good video because you whip your head back and forth and it's extremely difficult for your viewers to not get dizzy! Or we can't see above or below where you point your head. Drives us nuts 😢

That particular breed of fish has been known to kill men over there. They aim for the chest and shatter the rib cage, they are deadly.
